For me, it often takes a week for my behavior (good or bad) to catch up to me on the scale. Bodies are weird!..
I have the same experience in the past. What I eat this week (good or bad) catches up with me next week. Pounds don't come on or off immediately when we eat. Our bodies have to be tricked into loosing some times. I have found that when I switch up the order in which I eat things I have a bigger weight loss. Like I will eat oatmeal for dinner rather than breakfast and something magical happens.
That always seems to help. It seems that the less I eat at night always helps weight come off quicker. Just a thought. I also tried ALL shakes for 3 days and dropped weight.
Candy..
Often, eating off plan and drinking alcohol will effect your weight loss not JUST over the short-term (1-3 days), but also for the long-term, up to a week. Just remember we don't get away with anything on this program, we can never take a break from our bodies unfortunately. It is likely there was much more in the chilli and in the mushroom caps that you didn't know about, cheese and fat etc, and the alcohol will do it every time..
So you will know for next time, that it just isn't worth it to go off plan for any reason. There is always a solution, and I have been known to, on occasion, do 6 Medifast meals on days that I cannot find an adequate L&G. I would now recommend making a habit of it, but if it is the difference between staying OP and gaining weight or NOT losing weight, I choose to stay OP...
But 6 medifast meals is not on plan-that gives you just over 600 calories which could push your body in starvation mode...
Perhaps it's a case of "pay me now or pay me later"! You'll be fine...stay strong!..
LESS YOU HAVE TO LOSE SLOWER TO NO WEEK LOSSES WILL OCCUR!..
