Do you mean you have apples and oranges dot com and they have oranges and apples dot com?.
Depends on what the names actually are...
*EDIT* and what your use is and their use.....
Can you give us a little more infomation buddy..
Maybe he means, if his domain is reverse.com, then somebody has taken esrever.com..
That's what it looks like to me. If so, it would depend on the name. If it isn't similar and depending on how it's used I don't think there is a law against it. JMO..
There is no law against it unless the company has a trademark or copyright against it...
Could you show an example or the exact names please?..
OK example poweredsolutions.com, and they have taken the reverse. Both domains are parked, so no TM, or copyright, thanks people co2...
You're still not making it clear what you mean by "the reverse"...
Someone registered snoitulosderewop.com and you are concerned about this?.
Do a lot of dyslexics visit your site?..
I belive he means solutionspowered.com is registered by the other guy..
LOL jb... I'm sure he means the terms reversed, not the spelling.
Anyhow I don't think there is anything you can do since there is no tm rights (based on your comment)...
Oh, okay.... It was about as clear as asking "What's the opposite of Tuesday?".
A lot of trademark law boils down to consumer perception, not some set of mechanical rules. Would a relevant consumer recognize any well-known brands if goods and services were marked:.
"Olufsen & Bang".
"Lauren Ralph".
"Martin Lockheed".
Probably.
If we are talking about a pair of dictionary words which might have some other meaning if reversed, maybe not...
Erm... ok... thats one of the strangest sites I've seen in a while.....
I agree..wtf and he has at least 4 domains pointing to that same page. So many domains and no revenue from any...what a waste...
