Another weekend is upon us! I find this a particularly difficult time, much more idle time on my hands..

Just curious what some of your successful strategies are to conquer the weekends..

Thanks, Cheryl.

I actually find it hard to EAT on the weekends! Idk! Weird huh? I have to force myself to eat with my phone timers set! Maybe you can plan an outing for something, just to get out of the house! Take some bars with you, or shakes so you can add them to a bottle of water. I see a lot of people on here talk about how clean their houses are!.

Stay active! Work in the yard. Go for a hike. Play with your kids (or someone else's kids). If all else fails, CLEAN something (ick! This is a last resort for me! LOL!).

I guess I would say as a single person I have things easier than some folks as I only have to purchase food outside of Medifast for myself.

When I am at home on the Weekend, I read alot either online or off. I am OCD about logging my Foods and that is definitely a success tool for me. I might go for a short walk or spend time outside with my furkids (in the shade of course lol). I keep my Water with me at all times. If I'm running an errand, I take (1) 20oz bottle of Water. I go to the Grocery and spend some time Cooking my meats ahead and occasionally a couple of days ahead of steamed vegetables where I can just pop them in the Microwave to warm them up.

Clean up or work on eliminating clutter around the house. Go for a drive. Schedule Hair/Nail appts on the Weekend.

Now that the School has started back for my neice/nephew, as it gets cooler, I'll be heading out to see some of their ball games..

There's many things you can do on the Weekends. If you don't have a hobby, such as working in the Garden or Cross stitch or Scrapbooking, etc. try something you have on your "Someday Calendar." Someday I want to learn how to...... What's in your "Someday Calendar?" For me, for years it was learning to Cook. Well, I am doing that and will continue, but have other things on the list. Brainstorm. You can do it!.

I notice that my house is MUCH cleaner since starting MF... all I do all weekend is CLEAN to keep me busy and keep me OP LOL.

Thanks all! I do stay busy on the weekends. My oldest plays hockey (he had to be on ice at 6:30 am yesterday). My daughter does ballet. That is my Saturday mornings. Sunday morn is hockey again. I am hoping the weather cools soon, I can not take this heat! If the afternoon rain holds off I will take the kids to the pool.

I think I need to make a list to go to when I am bored to remind me of all the things I could be doing! And I love the idea of a "Someday Calendar"!.
