Yes they are legit but I don't use them often. I have the BBQ sauce which I do like and the Ranch dressing which I don't care for. I also have the caramel dip which I could take or leave...
A lot of it IS too good to be true. But I do like the chocolate and pancake syrups and will likely use them after finishing MF...
I made the mistake of ordering lots of stuff from them on my first order....the only thing I liked was the ranch dressing and the rest taste like pure chemicals to me...yukyukyuk. I was especially disappointed because I had high hopes for the marshmallow dip (I ordered 3 jars! yikes)..
So theres literally no calories or fat or sugar in anything? how could that be and doesnt that mean you could eat alot of it without affecting your weight or is there a catch to them..
Only tried a few items and they were nasty. I think things need to have a few calories to have a decent taste!..
So will eating any of these products ruin my 5 and 1 plan..
I'm so disappointed to hear everyone's reaction. I was going to place an order for several WF dressings on netrition.com. But now I don't know if I want to even try it. Any other suggestions of something to try?..
The Walden Farm's Asian and Caeser dressings are pretty good. I agree with the others about the "sweet stuff"...not so good. Although the pancake syrup was okay...
I think the salad dressings in general seem to be good, or at least ok..
Yes, it is all 0 calories but that is for 1 portion. Like anything "calorie free" if you eat a lot of it, you will be consuming some calories...nothing is 100% "free"...
I disagree here. I love all of the Walden Farms stuff that I tried. I have used a lot of the dressings and still do. I love the pancake, blueberry, strawberry, and chocolate syrup. I also like the caramel dip. I don't use the PB plain, but I will put it in or on something.
They don't taste chemically to me as I'm used to artifical sweetners. I like that I don't have to worry about calories coming from my dressings or syrups...
I do like the pancake syrup and the salad dressings. In fact, I tried the DaVinci pancake syrup and didn't like it (it had a nasty chemical after taste) so went back to the WF syrup...
A better salad dressing is Galeos which can be found at Whole Foods, Albertson, etc. You can also order them on-line. All their dressings are great!!!!!..
I've tried some of the Walden Farms products, and I like them too!.
I use the WF pancake syrup (tastier than Log Cabin SF syrup and no carbs), and I like to put a couple teaspoons of the caramel and/or chocolate dip in a Medifast shake - they give it a creamier consistency and add a nice flavor. The marshmallow dip tastes especially odd by itself, but a little bit spread over a warm brownie is good.
None of what I've tried so far tastes like the real thing, but I didn't expect them to. They do add a nice bit of flavor to some of the Medifast meals, though..
I recently bought the BBQ sauce, ketchup and chocolate syrup, but haven't had occasion to try them yet..
I was lucky enough to find some of the WF products at my local "bent and dent" discount grocery store. They were still in date, and I paid only 60 cents per item. So if there are any I don't like, I won't feel guilty tossing them!.
Deb..
I like the honey mustard salad dressing as a marinade for cooking, and also to dip stuff in. Not as good as the real thing, but it's not horrible!..
Try using the marshmallow as part of the cinnabon recipe. I also throw a dollop in my shakes when I make then. It makes them super thick and creamy..
I second this suggestion. The carbs and calories are minimal, but the taste is phenomenal. I can't believe sometimes that it's OP. Creamy and amazing! You can also order them from netrition for a very good price...
I like the barbaque sauce and the catsup. The marshmallow dip stuff was awful. Have not tried more than that but want to try the dressings...
