So I have had some pretty good weeks since I started MF. But, the last 2 weeks have been rough.

There have been a few "ok" days and I really try to stay positive. But it's rough. I feel horrible for even posting this after Christomegs post about the family that lost 5 children. This "roughness" is certainly put into perspective..

But, really why I am posting this is I see a correlation between stress and weight loss. Being overly stressed is hindering me from bigger numbers. Odds are when I get on the scale for my weigh in tomorrow, it will only be around 2 lbs..

Dont get me wrong, I will take it! But, for those of us at the bottom end of the bell curve of MF, perhaps taking a good look at stress reduction may help speed up the loss. Or ways to relax....

Mine will be reduced when I go home and get some help with my boys and am not freaking everytime they spill, break or dirty up something. Or are too noisy. I am counting the weeks now...4 more!..

I think stress plays a huge role in weight loss. Try your best to stay positive. I know it is hard sometimes. Just remember what you are working towards. Before you know it you will be on the plane headed home...

Ever watched the biggest loser (who hasn't rightAs seen on there, stress plays a huge factor into their weightloss. Our fat can be awful stubborn, lol...

I find when I am stressed, I don't move as much. I sit at my computer or in front of the TV more. I guess I am trying to remain in my "comfort" areas. You made me realize when I get stressed, I need to get up and MOVE. Thanks...

I think that you are doing a great job and you will reach your weightloss goal! it doesnt happen over night (and I know we wish it did lol) but it happens when your body allows it! Also, a 2 lbs loss for the week is great! Have you ever asked yourself this questions? "why is it that we want to rush weightloss, is it because we wanna look a certain way and not be judged for our outter appearance, or is it because we are doing this for healthy reasons aka..to have a clean health bill"? I can say for myself that I was in it for the first and I did get frustrated over the scale this last past week, but you know what I'm not goin gto let that get to me..the weight will comeoff when it does, and well I'm more in it for the HEALTHY REASONS!! I WISH YOU LUCK!..

Adele, you're right. Stress does seem to wreak havoc on weight loss, but girl, you need to step back and look at your numbers! Most of us would KILL to have weekly weigh-ins and an average loss like you've had so far. Your losses may slow down some as you get closer to goal, but do NOT let that discourage you! You're doing an amazing thing and just look at you!! Keep on rockin' it, sister!..

I can tell you right now, the weeks I had the most stress have correlated to my weeks of no loss. I have a stressful job I'm trying to keep (company is shedding people like crazy still). Family issues, the works. Yep, no changes in how I am following the plan, because I follow it to a tee, even logging and watching my condiments...

I started on June 28th at 171. I have lost 12 lbs, but my scale has not moved in 6 days and I am getting really discouraged. I am coming off a few surgeries, so I cannot and won't exercise for a few more weeks. I drink 96 oz of Crystal Light/Diet Snapple a day...can't do plain water.... I do know that when you have less to lose it comes off slower, but my weigh day is tomorrow. I was bulemic when I was 24 (now 39) and used to get on the scale all day long.... I have not acted out on that in over 15 years, but I am starting the scale thing every day and that behavior scares the hell out of me.......
