I just went ahead and input all of my food for the day into the MyPlan section. It says I'm going to have less than 700 calories for the day. I know that's too low. I think it's supposed to be 800-1000. What should I do? Do I just leave it as is? I don't want to go into starvation mode. I am planning on having 2 Bocca Burgers for dinner with a salad and of course my 5 Medifast meals...

Did you add any salad dressing to that salad?..

Yes, I usually use a fat free Italian dressing...

Eat something low- or no-carb to get above the 800-cal threshold. You want to stay within those Medifast parameters: 800-1000 calories, 80-100 g of carbohydrate, 20-30 g of fat and more than 72 g of protein. Actually, I think I read 10-30 g of fat but imo anything below 20 g of fat is pushing it health-wise!..

I'll add some black olives and an extra burger. That will get me to just a little over 800 calories...

How much salad did you put in for- did you only set it for one serving of green, or did you include all three? Also, double check (maybe run a quick search) about the particular Boca burgers you picked, to be sure that they are acceptable on the lean requirements- I think the lean is around 250-300-ish for calories, and there is a minimum on the fat too. You might just need to add a third (just keep an eye on all of the other things, like carbs)..

You definitely need to do something, though, to get above the 800 minimum!.

Good luck!..

I have been having the opposite problem lately & have to be careful to stay below 1000 cals. It's b/c I am obsessed with the MSF Grillers Prime veggie burgers and they are pretty high-fat and high-cal compared other veggie burgers out there. But they are sooooo good!!..

Which boca burgers are you having? Some types require you to have as much as two healthy fat servings and some don't require any healthy fat added at all..

If you should be adding the healthy fat and aren't, then that can make a large difference in your calories.

Are you getting the entire three servings of vegis?.

If my calories were going to be that low for the day, I'd adjust by having the higher calorie Medifast meals to bump it up...

My salad did include three servings, lettuce, cucumbers and mushrooms plus dressing. I'm going to have to just have a third burger to bump me up. Thanks for your help...

That is a good call. Medifast defaults it to 1 serving and you have to go in & edit to get it to 3 servings.....

I'm having the original boca burgers. I did add in the healthy fat, I chose black olives...
