I am 100% on track but tonight, while making dinner for my toddler, I felt like I was 2 seconds from going on a sugar binge. Also, I wanted to aggressively chow down on the Dr. Praeger's fishies I made for my son and I hate those! I am not really hungry but I am having terrible cravings for sugar and fat.

Thanks. I just needed to get that off of my chest...

You are so normal Marseven. I wasn't hungry either, but I wanted to eat too. I felt deprived...not getting to have any of my favorite things...poor me. But I had promised myself to stick to the diet for ONE month (my supply of food) and I just went one meal at a time.....2 to 3 hours to next medifast meal. I honestly didn't believe I would be able to stick to it...probably for the first 2 or 3 weeks I totally expected I'd quit but I kept going...one meal...one day at a time. It gets easier to say no to yourself and, believe it or not, now I'm getting good at this.

Please don't give up and believe your feelings are just like mine...but it can be done. Be stubborn...be determined....and soon you'll be smiling a lot more than you ever imagined possible!..

Marseven, don't give in to the darkside!! Stay with the program and, if you're like so many of us, your hunger with pass along with any headache, shakiness or other physical things you might be feeling.

On Monday I will have completed my first 2 weeks on the program. Last week I thought I was gonna die! I had migraine and was so hungry! I posted and got great feedback and encouragement and, indeed, another two or three days and I felt sated all day and had energy to boot!.

You can do it! Keep up the good work and the rewards will be felt and noticed sooner than you think...

You are doing fine! Just keep being strong. I have been on program for a long time and I still have to fight those urges, but most of the time I just take one urge or craving at a time and do a lot of self talk. Chew gum while you are cooking and it will help you. Keep up the good work, it is so worth it. I have my life back!..

Mars, welcome!.

You're right on track - the first few days really are difficult and you're nearly past the hard part. Take advantage of the allowed snacks to get yourself past the cravings - a pickle, some boullion. Make some hot tea, it takes a while to sip when it's hot. Definitely a good thing to chew mint gum while preparing dinner. You can even leave the room and go brush your teeth.

Keep up the good work, you can do this!..

Hang in there! I've noticed (as others on Medifast have) that when my body is CRAVING those slutty carbs and begging you to cheat on your Medifast relationship, it is about to make a big burn of what is in storage. Congrats on staying strong! Keep it up!..

I am on day 2, and with you 100%. Except instead of craving sugar, I want an entire jar of dill pickles. Im trying to ignore the urge...
