I love edamame! I can't believe how much I am missing different fruits and veggies while OP! I think I miss apples, berries, carrots, & edamame more than I miss chips and cookies at this point!..
No kidding! I've had it in my freezer forever - LOL! It's GREEN too...
Rawhide - I strongly suggest that you continue to use the list of allowed veggies that is provided in the Quick Start Guide. If something's not there, I would pass. Better to err on the side of caution sometimes. Not all veggies are created equal and some are higher in carbs and therefore not allowed on the 5&1. All the healthy stuff that you miss and love will be waiting for you in transition...

If I don't take my list to the grocery store, I end up with cauliflower, zucchini, squash, spinach and broccoli. I know those are on plan...
Rawhide - as you say, that's how we learn! I'm sure everyone here has made a few bobbles as we figure out the plan parameters :-D.
Good attitude, and no worries! At least you've found another healthy and tasty veggie to add back in once you hit T&M :-) I know I'm looking forward to that too - it is wonderful mixed in with brown rice too.

I miss edamame too. My kids had it last night.
I made the same mistake Sunday night, though, when I had an artichoke. I could have SWORN it was on the list of approved veggies! I was even bragging to DH that as long as I could have artichokes, I'd be fine. Ooops. Grrr..
Oh well. Acknowledge and move on. You're not alone!..
