So yucky...I had a chocolate pudding packet made it following the label directions and yuck! I have had it plenty of times before and liked it okay but today it tastes like licking an envelop. What the heck happened? Had chocolate chip pancakes for my last meal today and I usually love them, they had a chemical after taste too..

I have read lots of people have changing tastes and favorites with MF, is there some physical reason?..

I have been wondering this as well.

The types of food I want has changed as well. Before Medifast and at the beginning of the diet I craved foods high in sodium... Now I have a total sweettooth. I have never been much into candy and chocolate before but now that is all I want. Haha...

I have always loved the chicken noodle soup but today it just didn't taste as good to me. The product hasn't changed so I assume it is either because I am kind of tired of it or my taste buds have magically changed somehow. I may even try to oatmeal again which I haven't had since day 4. I would love to love the oatmeal...

I swore up and down that I'd never eat the oatmeal again after I tried it on day 1. I ate my words because now I love it and it is my breakfast every day..

It happens. I originally liked the oatmeal and had it for breakfast every day. Woke up one morning, sat down to eat my oatmeal and was horrified by the taste. Never ate it after that. I don't know if there's a physical reason for it or not...

I LOVE the Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal - it's my quick and easy breakfast during the work week, and Chocolate Chip pancakes on the weekends..

As far as tastes changing, I know that my mom for example NEVER likes sweets, but when she's on a diet that's all she wants to eat. My dad used to have a tomato sandwich everyday for lunch, and now the sight of them makes him sick..

Perhaps you're just getting sick of the repetitive foods? Try mixing it up a little. Add some fruit extract to your chocolate pudding, or some cinnamon and cream cheese to your pancakes..

Or maybe it was just a weird day for you. I know I've had days, before and during MF, where no matter what I ate it tasted like garbage - particularly days following a night of drinking, hahaa..

Try taking a break from the two foods for a few days, and then return to them. Who knows, it might help!..

My chocolate pudding didn't taste right to me last night either. IT BETTER BE THE NEW FAUCET/WATER. I LOVE my chocolate pudding. I don't know if I can get through my TOM without it, so I hope it was a one time thing!..

I like the oatmeal as well but only with a full cup of water added, otherwise it's too chalky. Try a little more water and see if that helps...

The lemon merigine bars were the first bars I tried, and I LOVED them. Now just the thought of them makes me sick. I'm only a month in and only had two boxes so it's not like I made myself tired of them. I dunno, Will try them again in a few months!..
