Well I couldn't resist the urge to get on the scale this morning....after 3 full days on the program I've lost 3 POUNDS!!!! I'm so excited!.

However, today (day 4) I am STARVING!!!! I know I'll "make it" but holy cow! It's only 11am and I've already started into my 3rd Medifast meal....(usually I eat that around 1)...probably because I couldn't sleep last night, so my body must think I've been up forever! .

Oh well....time to drink some more water.

It will help a lot for making it through the day if you set a firm meal schedule. If you split your L&G you can eat 8 times a day (5 MF, 2 half L&G, 1 snack). That's every 2 hours for 14 hours. Eating at predictable times helps your body relax, knowing exactly when the next meal is coming. And then you won't be facing a long evening with no more food - that just invites going off plan..

You might also try having part or all of your L&G earlier in the day. I eat a shake for breakfast, a soup at 10:30, and my full L&G at 1. Then I'm set. If I wait for my L&G for dinner I'm starving all day..

For today, remember you can have a cup of bouillon or a diet soda, or your optional snack of dill pickles or celery are more filling..

Good luck!.

Oh man, day 4 was my hardest day as far as feeling hungry! Then I woke up day 5 and felt MUCH better! Hang in there you are almost done with hell week!.

Are headaches normal ? I am on my second day and have a terrible headache !.

Headaches are totally normal. You're going through carb withdrawal at the least, and chemical withdrawal if you ate a lot of processed foods. Hang in there, it gets better. Take some pain pills. Take it easy....

Eat a pickle. I swear those pickles are a cure all for headaches, hunger, sweet or salty cravings. I've been dying for some extra salt (TOM). In the "old days", I would put down a ton of sunflower seeds. Now, I eat a pickle..

Hang in there you are doin a great job! .

Good luck!.

Thanks for the feedback and advice!!!.

Hang in there...the headache will go away in another day or so. I sipped some bullion which helped both the headache and hunger. Unfortunately Tylenol or ibuprofen didn't seem to help much.

I know you'll start feeling better soon and you're gonna love what the scale says this week..

Yay!! I'm right there with you Sis'ta, I started on Monday too!! I can't wait to weigh on Monday...I'm afraid if I weigh before the weekend that I'll be discouraged and not stick to plan (I don't trust myself yet!!).
