How to make shake cakes for Medifast?

Can anyone tell me where to find recipes for shake cakes? I looked in the recipes on this site and found nothing... I'm a newbie only day 4. Thanks.

Here are some that I found but never tried..

SHAKE CAKE.

1 shake, any flavor.

1 TBSP Eggbeaters or beaten egg.

2 TBSP water.

Tsp baking powder ( condiment).

Mix in small glass or ceramic bowl (no need to spray) until smooth. Cook in microwave for 1 minute and then 30 seconds at a time until done..

SHAKE CAKE.

1 Packet Shake, Any Flavor.

1/2 tsp Non-Aluminum Baking Powder.

2 Tbs Egg Substitute or Egg Whites.

2 Tbs Water.

- tsp Flavored Extract (Optional).

Spray a small bowl with non-stick cooking spray. Mix all ingredients and pour into sprayed bowl. Nuke for 1 minute or bake at 350F for 15-20 minutes.

SHAKE CAKE (never fails me and I make 2 a day).

1 pkg. shake mix.

1/4 tsp. baking powder.

2 Tbl. egg beaters.

1 Tbl. water.

1 TbL. SF FF syrup.

Mix your baking powder and 1 TBL. of the egg beaters together until frothy (I think this is the key)Add the rest of the wet ingredients and give it a little swirl. Add the shake mix and mix well until there are no lumps. Put in a small micro-wave safe cereal bowl that you've sprayed with Pam. Microwave for.....this will depend on your own microwave, but I only have to cook mine for 1 minute and 12 seconds. Comes out perfect every time. It's just like eating real cake!!!.

***When I tried to double the recipe and split it between 2 bowls to save time, it didn't turn out for me so I've never done that again..

Here's what I do:.

Shake Cake.

Mix 1 Medifast shake packet & 1/2 tsp. baking powder & 2 Tbsp Egg Beaters (or Egg Beaters Egg Whites) in a small microwavable bowl (I use custard cups). Microwave for 1 1/2 - 2 minutes..

Microwaves can vary so you might try 1 minute and then 30 second intervals until you find the best time for your microwave. It should be soft to the touch, the center not wet, but not all dried out.

Shake cakes can be rubbery if over cooked & especially if done in the oven instead of the microwave. They are meant to be done quick & easy.

I tried to make my first shake cake last night and ended up with a 2" rubbery disk...lol I'll have to try your recipes.

I don't use the eggbeaters...

1 antioxident chocolate shake.

3/4 tsp baking powder.

4 TBS water (more or less).

Mix it all up in a cereal bowl (I have flat bottomed Fiesta Ware bowls) and nuke for 90 seconds (more or less to your microwave- I nuke until just barely moist on top).

I was a shake cake failure... the only ones that seem to work out for me are made with the antioxident shakes.....

I made my first "shake cakes" last night and ate some this morning..

I didn't have the recipe in front of me so I made it up.

I used .

1 Medifast eggs.

1 banana shake.

1 vanilla shake.

1/2 tsp baking powder.

I premixed the eggs as directed with 1/2c water..

Let sit for a little while..

Incorporated the liquid into the dry..

Spooned the "dough" into 6 cupcakes..

Baked 10 minutes @ 350..

Made 3 meals worth.

They weren't bad. could have been a little "lighter" in feel. maybe I should have cooked it less? .

I'll def be making more. I need them for "take aways" now that i've used up most of my meals..
