Welcome! Stay OP and you'll do great!.
A couple of handy things I've come across since I've started,(medifast "Things I wish I knew when I started" thread). (.pdf file of vegetable cup to gram conversion file). (Post in "The Clubhouse" section with other October starters, come join in!)..
Hey! I'm starting today- let me know when you get your goodies and we will keep each other in line!.
Good luck and enjoy!!..
Good Luck! How long did it take you to get yours?..
Good luck! I just placed my first order on Monday, so I'll be starting soon as well...
Welcome, all of you!.
Conrad, nice job providing the links. These are very important; read them and then read them again..
I'm very excited for all of you. I am a week away from finishing the 5&1 phase; moving into T&M. I've lost 65 pounds and my life has been changed forever. You've read it here many times I'm sure, but really.. no really, DO THE PLAN AS WRITTEN. Do everything in your power to stay on plan 100%.
Come to the boards when you need support or help fighting the demons. We've all been there..
Good luck to all you losers..
Welcome everyone! You've made a great decision for yourself!! Congrats!!!!..
I'm pre-diabetic as well. I have been using the regular products all along. I think the diet change itself will do a lot for your blood sugar...
You have all made a GREAT decision! Medifast has changed my life! Just promise yourself to stick to it for 2 weeks! You can do anything for 2 weeks!!!!! Take care of yourself and worry about the program- read the boards, read your materials, sit back and enjoy. Take a bubble bath, do your nails! Those 2 weeks will fly by and then it all becomes routine. Things just all fall into place and before you even know it your pants will be falling off your body!..
You will do AWESOME! Just stay on plan and drink your water. Don't cheat. Not one little bit. You'll be AMAZED at the new you in no time!.
Although, take this as a lifestyle change, not just a diet. If you 'diet' with out changing the bad habits you could backslide. This is a new beginning.. you CAN do this!..
Welcome, Lulu! I'm new too - I'm starting today, as a matter of fact. I'm a full-blown Type 2 diabetic and I'm looking for great things to happen on this diet. From all that I've read, this is a wonderful diet for diabetics. I'm hoping for the best for you!!!..
Welcome newbies!! Congrats on making such a great decision. I have been on Medifast for 3 weeks and am so happy with it. Like previous posters said, follow it 100% and you will see results...
Welcome to all the newbies, this is the best thing you will ever do for yourself!!.
Good luck, and looking forward to seeing your future successes!..
Thanks! I was at the lowest point of my life before I started MF. I was on line at the pharmacy to get several medications when the pharmacist went on break. Something just snapped and I went and bought new sheets, new pajamas and a bunch of pampering stuff, went home and ordered MF. I took a "vacation" and did nothing in my house- the family fended for themselves. I took naps, long baths and read. That first week laid the foundation that this was all about ME.
They all survived and benefited from my week off!..
Thanks guys I already have made drastic lifestyle changes and am looking at this as another lifestyle change and not just a diet. This is gonna be amazing!..
