GoDaddy customer service : Suggest I pay for GoDaddy?? Registerfly Just Charged My Checking Account

Regfly just charged $8.99 to my checking account. I have authorized no such transfer and I can find no record of anything automatic. I've logged a ticket but I expect doing that and calling to be useless given the current issues.

What should I do - contact my bank?..

Just making sure - the charge is showing on your bank statement online?.

In other words, might this just be another errant email by someone trying to raise more cain?.

If it has hit your bank account, you just need to tell your bank that it is fraudulent and things will proceed accordingly..

Yeah those guys stole my doamin as well and it just went up in rank on the current pr update. They pout their own default page up that has their ads so theyy are profiting from my domain too. I can;t seem to get anything done about it!..

I'm going up to my bank tomorrow - I like to deal personally on these issues, so I will find out for sure. Really makes me wish I had online checking right now. I have a feeling that it is though, because the amount is showing in my Regfly account...

No online banking? Dude... 1995 called.

Anyhow, cliches aside, your check card or debit card should have a 1-800 number on the back that you can call and check recent transactions (Usually the last 5 or 10 for free by phone).

No need to wait to go in person.

If they charged around a hundred or so people out of the vast customer database they have every month, I wonder how many people will notice it.....

I went thru the same thing.. checked my bank and no charge was actually made or pending.. no idea what's up, but when I tried to call the number in the Registerfly email, it had been disconnected (surprise!)....

They used to have an address on the "fourth floor" - yet showed a 3 story building. I used to have to deal with the principals. One LITERALLY made a "Static" noise with his mouth and said: "Jude.... I'm losin ya...".

They had a wierd penchant for setting up conference calls to blow one off. I experienced FIVE of these...

Now in the face of this well-known mess, why would anyone still have a domain with these bums?.
