Hey Pauw,.
It's just a matter of rolling the disces. Can't really judge the first one cause it's a little to small. I do love the second picture, it's very nice. Not taken with the Pany is it (just joking)?.
The lucky-button took it a little too far. If you really want to know more about PP, I can really advise ' photoshop CS3 for dummies'. Not that I consider you a dummie, but it's a lovely book and really makes you understand what you are doing..

Thanks for the advice, but cs3 isn't really for me as a beginner. I was considering photoshop elements 6, would this book still be applicable?..
For some parts it is. But really: don't be afraid of CS3. With this book you will fast learn the most important easy picture adjustments. Just because CS3 can do it all, doesn't mean you have to know all ins and outs..
Elements however has a special mode (or actually menu-structure) for beginners and that is very very good. You will have tons of fun with that. I sure did, but I switched to CS3 in a week....
I read on your reply to Marion on the other thread that you are still looking for a new camera? What are you using now?.
Greetings,Erwin.

If you can believe it I own and am still in love with my old hp r717 from 2005, a point&shoot. Sure it lacks O.I.S. but it takes good quality pics with it's 6.3 megapixel count. It has a great viewfinder and a very intuitive menu...
I believe it, no problem. I'm still shooting with my Sony H2. Also 6 megapixel. Great camera, but it has a friend now, a Sony A300 DSLR. I have lots of fun with both..
Greetings,Erwin.
