Added another hit to your stats!.

It's a fierce market place in the hints and tips world!.

Word of note about your article, I have a Carbon tripod, yes it cost me a "packet", yes it is worth it..

Not sure where "the little birdie told me came from" heading my post..

Any tripod is often better than No tripod, in most circumstances! The importance of stability is noted more when using high pixel density cameras and high quality optics, larger focal lengths, and finely detailed subjects when bigger prints may be made..

Carbon Tripods, firstly weight is very important to me. I travelled around a lot with the tripod in my suitcase - every ounce was critical as I was on limits most of the time..

Walking around all day, I like to minimise the weight, the camera and fast lens are heavy enough!.

Your hands don't stick to it in really cold weather!.

The carbon is very strong, more so than the metal and alloy tripods. Mine gets banged around a bit in the suitcase and also in the field. Carbon is less prone to "after vibration" than metal tripods..

Steven.
