It could take 3 days for you to get back into ketosis.
I'm gonna take a guess that you probably did kick yourself out of ketosis. Lesson learned, move on, stay OP and you should be good. Hopefully it won't be too bad getting back in ketosis!.
It really depends on your own body chemistry...I know from doing low-carb type diets in the past that after eating one day off plan, the next evening I can show ketones on a urine strip...it really depends...To start Medifast I did Atkins for two days(very low/no carb diet), so that I could get past the yucky feeling before I started MF.
I think if I go off plan ever, which I don't *plan* on doing at the moment, I will probably do Atkins to get back into Ketosis faster before I do MF...to me 0-20 carbs = gets back into Ketosis faster than the 70-90 you get on MF...that's just me....

Most important thing to do when you've been off plan is to figure out *why.* Identify what you were feeling and thinking, what triggered the binge, etc. This is step 1 of unhooking the behavior - because after you learn why you eat off plan, you know what to watch out for in the future!.

I have to agree with Freya. I think the most important thing right now is to identify why you went off plan and what strategies you will have for the next time those feelings, situations or life changes happen. Good for you for getting back on plan. You can do this!.
