I realized I've ordered waayyy too many shakes and bars and not enough of the other stuff. I placed my order before I did any reading here and didn't realize that I would need more of the non-soy stuff for breakfast since I am on thyroid medicine. Is there a way I can exchange some of it for some more eggs and cocoa (since that looks like all I'll be able to eat for my first two meals, LOL!)?..

Yes, you can return/exchange up to 10 boxes of product within 30 days and boxes need to be unopened or having only 1 item gone. There will be a piece of paper with this information in your order, or you can not find the information there, call 1(866)451-9264 and they will give you the information you need...

Thank you both! I'll be doing some exchanging, let me tell you! I didn't order any brownies and now I want some!..

If it makes you feel better, I'm on thyroid medication, and I take mine first thing in the morning about an hour or so before my first meal, which is usually soy-based. I just had blood work done, which includes the past 3 months, and my thyroid levels are fine. I'm not saying that this is true for all, but for me, it hasn't seemed to affect the absorption of the medication. You might want to talk to your doctor about it. In any case, you can always return the products for non-soy ones...

I found, with all the water I am drinking, that I have to get up in the night to go to the bathroom. I take my thyroid meds when I do that. It gives me a good 4+ hours or so before my first Medifast meal...

Also on thyroid meds. As long as you wait at least an hour, preferably 2 between taking your meds and ingesting soy or calcium, you should be fine with soy based products...

I already wait at least an hour, usually more, before I eat breakfast after taking my meds, so I'll see what happens. I really wasn't looking forward to eating just eggs or hot/cold drinks for my first two meals EVERY SINGLE DAY, LOL! And I definitely didn't think I could stomach soup that early in the morning..

So the soft serve is soy free? I didn't know that. Maybe I'll have ice cream for breakfast, hehe.....

Well, you'll have to pay for shipping to exchange boxes of product. If you can swing it financially I'd recommend placing another order and stretching the two orders over two months...
