I have the P2, and when I use it's TV mode I noticed a considerable delay between the sound and the video. Does anyone noticed it too ? Ehud..
I still can't use the wifi of my P2, anyone can help?..
Hi! I'm a newbie who just purchased a Nikon P2 and am really happy with the image quality, and the flexibility of all the settings (I'm still learning how these work), but I'm concerned about the battery. It seems to max out at 50 shots and then I get the icon that says it needs recharging. This seems pretty low to me. I've tried to use the battery as little as possible, and have set the camera to go into standby at 30 seconds (although I find myself generally switching it back on again), and I have done a few downloads to my computer rather than transferring through a card, but even so, 50 seems like it's pretty low compared to what the battery is supposed to be rated (I've read between 180 and 190 shots). It has been on the cold side (50 degrees F or so here). Could that be it? Or is there a problem with this particular battery model, or with my battery in particular? Thanks for any replies...
How can I use my Nikon P2 as a web camera? Anyone can help?..
You may have figured this out by now. I just found this great website. Temperature is a concern for a battery but 50F is reasonable. Have you tried turning off your sound option in the setup. Also try to limit your use of the Flash. I use a 2GB high speed SD card, this helps with performance.
If you remove the battery that will help it from discharging when not in use. I mean if a few days are going to pass remove the battery. All batteries are in use when a computer controlled device monitors for a button to be pressed. If it had a switch to open the circuit, you would not need to remove the battery. Nikon has a ac plug-in that you can use to take pictures (this is not a battery charger)you can use while taking pictures.
Do a google search. hope that help. regards,..
I guess you are trying to connect to some sort of PC. Using wireless on PC's that I have transmitted to, I had to configure my firewall to allow communication. You may have to allow this. You may need to configure your Nikon PC software instead/as well. What have you tried or does it work now?..
