What's the difference between 4600 and 4100?.
As regards the features.
Which one is better out of the two......
I'm new to photography. What does it noise mean. Also I have a coolpix 995, can I get a infrared lense or is that a filter?..
I have just bought a Nikon 4600 and am wondering whether I should sell it and invest in a Kodak DX4530.
They are priced equally. I find nothing wrong with the Nikon, but like most of us, am never satisfied! Regards, Jim...
After much consideration, I purchased a Nikon Coolpix 4600 on sale from Best Buy. After taking several pictures, I was very disappointed by the quality of pictures on two fronts. Indoors and at dusk, the pictures were often blurry. The colors were also highly saturated. I took a picture of some evergreen trees in my yard, and they looked like they were glowing with radiation, the green was so bright. And this was in comparison to my 5 year old 1.3 megapixel Olympus.
The A510 is a little bit larger but still of similar size, is only 3.2 megapixel, and sells for about the same price. I couldn't be happier. The color on the Canon is much more realistic, and the lower light pictures look great. The Canon also feels much more substantial. On the plus side for the Nikon, it had the best menus and interface of any camera I have used, including Kodak..
I am about to buy a camera and I was wondering witch one to buy. what camera is the best? coolpix 5900 or 5600 or 5200?.
You have a gem there if it produces great pictures. I (and several others it seems from looking around) have found the A510 to be troublesome camera regarding picture quality. I actually wanted to like the A510, so perhaps I should buy it again in case I had a bad model?..
I totally agree with you. I am having the same problem. It really sucks. Do you know any why to fix that issue, other then buying a new camera/?.
I recently bought my Nikon 4600 and I am finding the pictures being blurry and the picture quality is not good at all. Taking action shots I am very unhappy with my nikon and I will be taking it back and looking at getting a cannon...
I don't understand why the 4600 has omitted the video audio detail while the 3100 (now discontinued) had it. The "upgraded" and more expensive version seems to be of less quality and without new features...
Nikon must be making two different cameras. The one I have ( a.
Refurbished unit for $ 130 and the ones I read about. This camera.
Does a great job w/ clarity of pics, ease of use and options that.
The typical user might try.
Honestly folks, if you cant take nice pics w/ this one, I'd.
Suggest relearning your picture taking abilitys. Its not the camera.
Thats at fault...
Hi from Germany I bought my 4600 in September and to be quite honest I am less than happy. I finally made the move from 35mm, I retired my Pentax KX (Yes KX) and F2S and went digital. I could not spend a lot and after much soul searching decided on the 4600. The daylight pictures and indoor photos that do not require flash are superb, the colour is good and not over saturated and in my opinion it copes with brilliant colours very well. The images are nice and crisp providing you don't want to print 'big' photos and considering the size of the CCD. The image options are comprehensive and for the newcomer to digital ideal. BUT.
In low-light situations however, to be honest, it sucks. Sorry to the confirmed Nikon fans, I also think their cameras are superb, but the 4600 is useless. I also don't believe in blaming the equipment but I simply cannot get good low light images. The pictures that I took at Christmas at home this year I have simply deleted. Out of focus, grainy and simply unusable. Thank heavens I had some roll film.
Simply photos of her sat on a sofa. I couldn't even get those right. All out of focus, I simply couldn't believe it, Nothig I did made any difference To conclude and to prevent me going on too long. I cannot and will not recommend this camera to anyone. I will be saving for a 350D or Nikon equivalent, it's the only way to go.
I bought a Nikon E4600 4 months ago and at the same time, I also bought a Nikon 256MB SD card. I found that once I take an image, I have to wait for a long time(about 10 seconds)for the camera to write the data before I can take another image. What can I do? Is there anything to do with my SD card? Should I buy a high speed SD card in order to have a fast writing speed? Please, I need help. Thank you...
Can I use My NIKON 4600 camera as a webcam?..
Ok, it took a long time to reply. I am not a good or a bad photographer. I cannot get to grips with this camera. I sse your point but after almost a year with this 'beast'. I have had it. Sorry this camera is an absolute non-starter.
Hi, I have a coolpix 4600 and it feel the other day and now th lense is stuck. I need a diagram on how to open it and/or a step by step. Thanks!.
