Cheaper to buy probiotics from Walgreen's or whatever you have for a local drug store. Same with the fish oil. I'd be interested to know how they force you to buy their fish oil. Especially when it's not a Medifast requirement or even suggested on their plan..
I'm with MT_Cup. I can't imagine the clinic requiring you buy the supplements. You might want to question that..
I went to my local clinic, thinking that the accountability would be good for me. I was told that they could only GUARANTEE my results if I bought the fish oil and digestive supplements, along with my food AND the cost of joining the center...it all sounded too much like a hard sell to me...and so I bought online and come here instead...and saved $1300!!!.
Buy it wherever you want. I can't take fish oil so take flaxseed oil instead. I used the digestive aid pills a couple of months then switched to acidopholous pills my doc suggested. I had problems with digestion until I got to T&M and ate food again..
Trust me, the regional director at the center is all business yes they do HAVE a contract. I was told I had to buy both pills, but I saw in the contract it only listed the fish oil, so I said I wasn't sure if I'd always buy the digestive pills. I forked over so much money because I'm afraid once the speedy weight losses and novelty of it all wear off I would be tempted to backslide. With the contract I can't cheat or else I break it makes it really tempting for folks to just lie I'd imagine I'm not a huge fan of this center and it's hard sell ways, but I do like the accountibility aspect..
