Nice photos..

I felt like on travel. You got photos of many intresting places. I never seen Peru before..

Couple advices:.

You tend to concentrate on wide views mainly. In future try to do more deep visual coverage.Wide-medium-detail examples:1. Wide street view>seldom building>window>crack in window frame.2. Wide landscape>seldom tree>grass, sand, flower or bug.

Another advice will be making shots at different time of day..

Most of you photos are from day-time. Add variety by shoting evening scenes, night street life, or night scapes..

I enjoyed your album(s)..

Congratulations with birth of your son! Make many photos of him!.

First of all: thanks for your congrats about my son: I'm following your hint making a lot of photos (and videos) to him .

About the couple of hints I really appreciate them: in the future I'll try to concentrate my attention also on details!!!.

It really does look like you are doing just fine. just keep shooting and shooting. You seem to have the rule of thirds down or just natural and also notice "S" curves..

Do some samples in (not bad light) but more dramatic light...like low light or stormy conditions.'The moment you think your great is the moment you quit learning.'http://www.gawalters.com..

If you get a chance check out on the Swiss,France section about mid way down and you'll see some shots at night and in the rain..

Then the second link are some fog examples..

None of these are great but will just give you an idea to jump off of..

Thanks,Chad..

By the way and off topic. Don't know if you are from peru or not but I have been to Iquitos twice and absolutley love it. The most peacefull place and people and magical place I have ever met..

Just saw your reply below...OK...Had an assignment in Milano a couple of years ago and was great.'The moment you think your great is the moment you quit learning.'http://www.gawalters.com..

No, I'm not from Peru, I'm Italian..

I spent a couple of weeks in Peru last year (see my travelogue: http://www.msereno1970.com/peru/en/peru.html) but unfortunately I miss Iquitos...

Basically (and I'm sure someone will give a better example , is the rule of thrids is to put the main subject into one of the "thirds" of the frame rather than centered every time. You can see in one of his shots on his first link I believe a path way ,road or stream that hasd an "S" curve to it. These lead you into and out of a scene and are just pleasing in a design sense. Many times in fashion you will notice an "S: curve to the modles as well..

Just an art thing.'The moment you think your great is the moment you quit learning.'http://www.gawalters.com..

I've had a look to your links and saved them in my bookmarks: there's a lot of material and examples useful to me!!.

The foggy images are really interesting: I have to admit I've never considered making photos with such bad weather conditions but your snapshots show me it is always possible to get some good photos!.

Thanks for posting!!..

Have a glance at the Sony photo tutorials. Here's a link to the one that includes the rule of thirds..
