I had a domain @ kanser-tedavisi.org and for some reasons I didnt continue with my hosting company and they didnt notice me to reregister my domain. Now it's taken by some company. I think it's just parked there. How can I get it back?..

Prob going to have to wait for it to expire...

Unless it's a trademarked name that you own, you're probably F.U.C.T...

Do a backorder on it (if you cant reacquire it any other way)... go to pool.com and snapnames.com and get accounts there...

Check to see if it's being kited. If it is then you can get it back in b/w the kites.. (i got a great domain like this).. Stealing from kiters makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside...

Email them. They'll either give it back, charge you for it, or ignore you. Worth a shot...

It all depends to how valuable the domain is to you?.

If less then $500, then let it expire. I recommend using to backorder so you don't have to constantly check to register it. For the fee ($18 - $60) it will do it automatically providing the domain drops (from being kited) or expires..

If it's worth more then $500 then go get a trademark (you could go to US Patent & Trademark office and apply online last time I trademarked it cost $300+ or so. Plus it takes about 2 years to finally get it registered)..

And last hail mary shot is ... like chris22 said, but have a friend send an e-mail to offer to buy it. Have them offer shit for it ... something like $20. If your willing to pay that and they bite. Then the problem is solved.

Good luck...

What does kite mean? The domain is going to be available on may 2007. I have 2 options:.

.org website (my old one) is PR2, and listed 2nd or 3rd when search for the terms I am aiming for.

Or.

I can buy a .net domain start over and reach the same status in 5 months?..

I got this from the web, it pretty much explains it ....

"Domain Kiting if you havent heard of it before, is the practice of registering a ton of domain names for five days, during which time you put up a bunch of made-for-Adsense (MFA) popup sites, then exploiting a systematic loophole to cancel the registration, get a refund, and re-register the domains a few milliseconds later. Basically, you get a free domain for five days, during which time you can measure whether it gets traffic and generates revenue. If it does, you either cycle it through another five days, or, if its a big money-spinner, register it properly (actually paying for it). "..

My apologies to whomever left me neg feedback for my previous post. I wasn't trying to offend..

Sometimes, like any normal person, I type before I think.....
