I know, I know! But when I get upset I cannot eat...... Yesterday I had a Medifast breakfast, then missed everything else until a green salad at the airport (mid afternoon) with a handy WF salad dressing, then nothing else until a Medifast pudding today just awhile ago. like 24hrs with nothing. I know this is bad, but what do I do from here. Now I'm just not hungry!.

Assuming you know the lecture about *HAVING* to get all 5 + 1 L&G in, then get them in..

Double up if you have to, reduce the time in between if you have to, but you cannot skip meals..

Set timers for every 3 hours to remind you eat and double up where you can to get them all in. You can make yourself sick by not eating your full 5&1..

Get your meals in no matter what! And here's why:.

"Diets of less than 800 calories can lead to numerous complications, according to Jampolis, including heart arrhythmias, which could lead to death. Extreme dieters are also at risk of dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, low blood pressure and high uric acid, which could lead to gout or kidney stones, she says.".

I didn't intend to let this happen, and I know it's not good. I'm just not sure if I just go on from today, (I've gotten two Medifast meals in, and am getting ready to eat one Medifast meal with a l&g meal) and take a loss for yesterdays missed meals. Is this really going to effect my weekly stats? Ugh!!! nerves! I loose appitite, not gain it when upset!.

Treat every day as a new one. If you screwed up yesterday, learn from it and move on. Get all 5 in and your L&G today, and then every day going forward and you'll be fine..

This is the truth. If you can learn from your mistakes and put plans in place to prevent it from happening again, you've succeeded. Just get on plan today and move forward..

Thanks everyone. I feel like a duff! But I am back on track, added a Medifast meal to my l&g, now just another meal before bed. Great support team!.

I know this is not an answer to the above question but I am new and can't figure out how to post a question. This one is as similar to mine as I can find so I am very sorry for posting here if this is wrong..

I can't seem to be able to eat all 5 Medifast meals in any day and sometimes cannot eat my "lean & green". This is way more food than I am used to eating and I can't seem to remember and/or find time to eat it. This is very frustrating since I have only lost 2 pounds in 2 weeks and I haven't eaten anything that is not allowed on the plan. Help! What am I doing wrong and what is the least amount of Medifast meals I can have per day and still lose weight?.

If you're not eating all your food you will slow your losses and potentially make yourself sick. It's very important you eat it all. Try splitting your lean and green so that you're eating more smaller meals or you can double up your Medifast foods, say have two shakes for breakfast and then use half your lean and green where that other shake would go. Find out what time of day you're most hungry and work things around that. Set timers to remind you to eat. Even if you're not hungry you need to eat your meal and on time.

You can't go with less than 5 Medifast meals and a L&G in a day. That's the absolute minimum. If you're still struggling I would suggest you call Medifast and ask to speak to a dietitian. They are there to help..

Great job. Lesson learned just because you missed meals yesterday do not let the cycle continue. Proud of you for getting them all in today!.

Thanks everyone! I finished up the day complete, and even remembered to take a bar with me to my drs appt. this morning because I knew it would be in my "mid morning" time slot. Back on track! You all really helped! Thanks!.

To lookwhoshere: It is sometimes hard to get all the meals in, even on normal days, lol. Until you get your Medifast feet, split up your lean & grean, that's what I did. Have half for your lunch (side a side salad with cottage cheese or chicken breast or tuna) and then a pudding or shake to go with it. Sometimes I have to eat a meatless version for my l&g because it just goes easier. I've had cottage cheese and tomatoes several times for dinner. The worst is my last meal, which I find very hard to eat. But the brownie turned cookie has helped! Hope this helps a little!.
