Sometime in the last week I read a post about how to make zucchini and/or radish chips in the oven. I didn't memorize it (or write it down) and for the life of me I can't find the post. I couldn't even tell you what forum it was in..

Anyone have the recipe? Basically you slice the veggies thin and put them in the oven, but the temp and the duration (at least a few hours) I don't remember. There was also mentioned how to figure serving size by weight..

I did a search for radish chips is this it?.

Ingredients.

10 radishes.

1 tsp chili powder.

1/2 tsp garlic salt.

1/2 tsp paprika.

Directions.

Thinly slice radishes.

Steam in microwave for 5 minutes.

Put in bowl with spices; stir.

Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, flip the chips, and bake for another 10 minutes.

Let cool before eating...

I posted last week about zucchini chips. In fact had a big plate while watching biggest loser last night..

Peel the zuchinni then slice real thin. Spray a baking sheet and place them single layer. Have oven between 170-200 and let slowly dehydrate for 2-3 hours. Longer depending on how thick your slice might be. After one hour I rotate pans and flip them. Once you think they are to the dryness/crispness you want turn the oven off and let them cool in there.

It took me several tries to get them just right with my oven..

I take the measurement for one serving zuchinni then add another half serving to allow for the cooking process. It usually ends up being one normal size zuchinni...

It's time to do something different with the same old greens, and I miss crunchie stuff...

Let me warn you TOTALLY addictive. You can do splenda/cinnamon for an apply type chip and garlic powder or any other spice you like. Tons of combos. My favorite is a lite queso laughing cow melted in the microwave. It is like eating those chips you get at the fair...
