I had heard that the chili was awful. I had some that were so strongly against it I decided I wouldnt even waste my time or money ordering it. I have a friend locally that is on medifast and she ordered it and couldnt stand it. She offered the box to me (FREE!) so I said sure..Ill see what I can do with it.

I love it. Lord help me.

The variety is what makes this successful for me. I would suggest people not go off what others think of a product but use the information to approach with caution only. Maybe not order a lot until you test a box for yourself. I can push back 7 packs of anything over the span of weight loss even if I dont care for it entirely. There are also a lot of alternative recipes to fix many of the medifast meals and I will use those only on foods I dont seem to tolerate well otherwisebut at least it's an option (tomato soup comes to mind here ~shudder~)..

Bottom line is this..never say never and be adventurous! You never know..you just might like it...

I liked your post.

That said, I'm personally too cheap to blow $15 on a box of something I've heard is awful... I wish I could get free samples of stuff, I'd be way more adventurous that way. As it is, I'm sticking with the things I know I like...

You can't get free samples, but you can buy individual packets if you want to sample an item before buying a whole box. Just call customer support and ask that the sample packet be added to your order, or, if you order through the TSFL website, you can add sample packets to your online order...

China Kat.... I order from the take shape for life website, and I have been able to order 1 sample pack of the chili to see if I liked it...

I have a friend in town that does Medifast and we started a Medifast swap to try different things. Everyones taste are different and your taste will change. My first order I just ordered 1 box of things I thought I would like to try them. I'm taking mental notes on what makes it to the re-order list and i'm saving the icky ones to try 1 pack once a week see if it gets better...
