Bon jour David, It is difficult to answer your question "is it a good choice?" because you do not say what you want in a camera. Do you want to make prints, and if so, how big do you want to make them? What type of things do you want to take pictures of? Will you be taking pictures in remote or unusual places? Do you like the Sony because it is small, or would you possibly consider something a bit larger? Au revoir,.
PhilR.
Please excuse my French - I'm American......
PhilR, what Iwant is a camera who don't have many manual settings, which give images I can cropped and print to A4 (letter) format. A camera who can give me good results inalmost situations (kids, landscape, etc.). For the size, a bit larger is possible, but not much. David..
The P150 will have more than enough megapixels to do what you want. It will also give good results in most situations, as long as you remember the range of the flash. Therefore - getting back to your original question - there doesn't seem to be any reason not to buy it.... PhilR...
You say "the P150 will have more then enough megapixels to do what I want" ? What camera would you advice me to buy ? P 100 or what ? I can buy another trade than Sony. What do you think of Canon S60 ? Thanks David..
Hi. I'm from Moscow. Fogive me for my English I was holding P-150 in my hands ten days ago. And I like it. It has a small size steel body and black color (or metalic but I like black). But It has only M mode.
You may find it in Sony V1 or V3. But I bought the Olimpus 5060. It has the steel black body but it's size not so small but camera lays better in hands. And has many buttons so you can use this camera much faster then S60 or P-150.
And 5060 is using Compact Flash. It is not so expensive as Memory Stick..
