I wanted a group of people that I could meet in person to talk about all things medifast and very low calorie diet so I started a meet up group in my area. What should I do with it now? do you have any ideas for fun activities or things you wish were happening in your area with other medifasters?..

At my TSFL meetings we share our clothes that have gotten too big, we trade food items, we share our successes and one of the coaches gives a presentation from Dr. A's Habits of Health...

Perfect Cellis that is what I would suggest too. Dr Andersen's book workbook and DVD are perfect for a meeting setting to learn the Habits Of Health that will help you keep the weight off for life..

How about adding some contests or challenges...

I like the idea of opening and closing the meeting with a reading from Habits of Health, or The Secret is Out. How about the first meeting in a month everyone everyone brings in copies of one OP recipe, enough copies to share with everyone. I love the clothing exchange, maybe the second meeting in a month you could do that. Third one could be "bring a friend", etc. Themes are good. I used to run Cub Scout meetings so we would have openings, learning time, fun time, and a closing.

As the leader/moderator, try to keep things positive and on track. Sounds like a fun time you'll have, no matter how you choose to do it...

Dr. Wayne Scott Anderson, who is a co-founder of Take Shape for Life and executive director of the Health Institute, has written a book called Habits of Health. There is a companion guide called Living a Longer Healthier Life. I purchased them from my Take Shape for Life health coach for about $40 but I think you can get them on Amazon, etc. as well and maybe even used copies for less..

PS At our meetings, we exchange recipes also. Good luck. It's great you are doing this...

I had and still have one of these groups, we started ten years ago when everyone was doing Atkins we do things like Christmas parties featuring OP foods, OP restaurants, hiking trips, shooting range. It's a mix of men and women all ages! I'm the youngest at 29. We also have some 60 year old men and women and few in-between people! It's such a great group of people!..
