Have variety packs. For instance, a shake variety pack and in that pack have one of each of the shake flavors. Or a breakfast variety pack which would have one or two of each of the oatmeals and pancakes. Or a soup variety pack with one of each soup including the chili and the beef stew. Same for the bars and so on. If they offered these packs, we would be able to try each flavor once, not seven times to determine that we don't like it!! .

So far this is only my second day on the diet and I have liked everything I tried with exception of the chicken and wild rice soup- YUCK ! I love soup and I really didn't think that soup could be so bad! I am a bit hestitant to try the chicken noodle now and after yesterdays experience I don't think that I will be ordering any other soups BUT if I had a variety pack, I would certainly have considered giving the other soups a try! Just sayin'..

Merri.

You can order single packets through Take Shape for Life. It's a subsidiary of Medifast. http://www.tsfl.com/ This is also where the coaches come from. If you need any help there, please let me know and I can even recommend some great coaches..

Hi Merri,.

Yes, that would be AWESOME! Just for the variety, if nothing else! But, you can call and exchange those that you didn't like for another soup. I've traded for Cream of Broc and Tomato, just to have for the recipes. Tortilla shells, muffins, breads, etc..

Most on here will say that the Chicken soups need help, lol. I make mine early in the morning for lunch, using boiling water, one packet of sodium free chicken broth, nosalt and pepper. Put it all in a small thermous, shake a few times, and let sit til lunch time. it's MUCH better this way. I do it to both the chickens..

I hear you. Their VIP Variety Pack is not really a Variety. I contacted them on it and I was told they are working on it. My second order as a VIP member I chose my own foods and it cost me $30 more. So, by ordering theirs, you would save the $30 plus odd dollars, shipping and then on top of that you save the 5%. BUT still it needs more variety, like one each of most meals and not all those shakes in one..

I have seen Bar variety packs on Ebay... some health coaches just open boxes of various flavors and put one of each in a big ziplock bag and sell them that way. But yeah, Medifast should do that, it would save them on returns..

You can also purchase individual meals from Medifast directly. They are around $2.50 each. I would caution purchases from eBay and other sites like that because this is food you're buying. It is still perishable items..

The variety pack idea is a great one and I am with you on the Chicken and Wild Rice soup! I purchased one box when I started Medifast and 4 months later, I still have 2 packets left. Recently I have found that if I add some Molly McCheese to it I can eat it without shuddering. I even tried to make "tortilla chips" out of it, like soup chips, but I didn't like that either. I keep trying the soup (and the oatmeal) about once a month, thinking that maybe it's true...my tastes have changed. So far, not. Good luck!.

This is a great idea! I usually order several flavors and make my own variety box, but this would save lots of time. Even if you like all the flavors of oatmeal or soup (for example), it's nice to vary it up a bit..

Send this idea to Medifast!!!!.

Today is my 10th day and I have tried quite a few things. SO far I don't dislike any of the shakes. I love the brownie best. The chicken noodle soup made me gag but I ate it since I was starving. Guess we will eat anything if we are hungry enough. If you are expecting anything to actually taste like real food ain't gonna happen.

I had the pancakes this morning they were ok first thing I have eated in 10 days that tasted sort of like a CARB ! Lucky for me my boss at work is on Medifast so we have been exchanging meals we don't like. I traded 6 chicken noodles for all kinds of things I hadn't tried yet. SO cool I will know what not to order by the time I need more.. good luck Merri and if you like cream soups try the broccoli and add some broccoli tastes better.......
