Hello!! I have been on Nutrisystem for 7 days now and the biggest issue I have is the hunger pains! Is anyone else experiencing hunger pains eventhough you are following the program exactly like you should??? If so, will it go away??? Help!!!! Thanks.

Are you eating all of your Nutrisystem meals, add-ins and water?..

Can you list, meal by meal, item by item, what you are eating on a typical day? Perhaps we can help you bulk it up so you won't be hungry..

Have you called and talked to one of the helpful Weightloss Counselors to make sure you are following the program correctly? It can be confusing at first...

Yes, I am eating everything, drinking at least 2 liters or more of water a day, I have added in the carbs to lose more than 100 lbs. and I have also added the extra 60 calories of "free foods"! I have done everything. I call the counselors at least once a day and they help out and they said that the feeling will eventually go away once my body gets adjusted but boy oh boy the feeling is not good...

I also have the meal planner and I plan my meals and add ins for the week ahead of time so I am not scrambling for things to eat. I measure everything and I'm doing it the way I should. I am hoping that it's just the adjustment period and that it will go away..

I stuff myself with veggies to take away the hunger. In time, it will go away. I also find that I am not physically hungry but mentally hungry. I am having a real problem with that. Are you physically hungry. I eat for other reasons than hunger which I am constantly fighting not always successfully.

My body wook about two weeks to adjust and still more is happening over time. If you can hang in there for another week, I think you will feel much better...

Have you tried spreading out your food and eating something every hour or two? I have 7-8 "feedings" a day by doing this. Are you making sure that your Dairy/Protein is at least 100 calories, 3g of fat or less and 7g protein or MORE. I always choose Dairy/Protein with 9g-18g of protein. It really makes a difference, I feel. Eat more veggies...I mean a TON of veggies. There are many, many unlimited ones that you can eat constantly (really)..

I know that talking to the Counselors is one way to get help, but those of us here have lived the plan, day in and day out. Let us help you get over this initial hump...

How do you use the tickers on your messages? I went to the website and made one but can't figure out how to use it here..

Major congratulations on your weight loss. I would take advice from you rather than any counselor any day!..

Come back here to this board.

Click ''quick links'' or ''user preferences''.

Click edit signature.

Paste (press Ctrl and V) ticker in the box and SAVE..

To make a ticker for here on the BB in your signature..


Click on ''create your own ticker'' then click ''weight loss''.

For a password or pin use your post name.

Make a ticker ( Click the square that says ''weight''. That will show your weight not just the pounds lost.).

Copy the bb code , the code that starts with [.

Come back here to this board.

Click ''quick links'' or ''user preferences''.

Click edit signature.

Paste (press Ctrl and V) ticker in the box and SAVE.

After you are done point to your ticker if you see the hand it is right..

Click on it to change it..

For the Nutrisystem ticker. Make one then follow the blue writing. To change the Nutrisystem ticker you have to make a new one each time...
