Ugh! I have really been struggling for many days now b/c I am HUNGRY! It seems like ever since I tried to get more consistent about working out, I am hungry all the time. I hate for exercise to have to go on the back burner b/c I'm getting awfully squishy but I don't think I can stand being hungry all the time. The days when I work out are the worst. Ideas?..

Heyelpea - we are in the same boat. I asked Nutrisystem about it and they suggested adding a snack if I haven't already. So, now I am eating 8xday instead of 6 by also splitting my L & G. If you can - have your L & G (or half) within an hour after working out. The proteins will help the "hungries" throughout the day..

I have also seen posts by Nutrisystem to add 1 ounce protein if you have to. I have added the extra protein on those days that I just need to eat and I had the "whoosh" factor of the dramatic scale drop the next day. As long as I keep my calories under 1000 and my carbs under 85 it's all good...

Thanks, Drea! You are so close to goal!!! I actually did sort of split my L and G today...stayed within calories and carbs but now I can't have my normal evening snack One thing's for ain't gonna kill me!..

I agree that if you are truly physically hungry, add a little protein, especially if you are exercising.

On my workout days if I am ravenous I have a cup of tea and a lowfat string cheese. It helps, and it seems to help my losses...

The 4&2 really helped me when I kicked up the exercise. And I didn't notice any slow down with my weight loss. In fact, I think it actually helped keep the loss going at a decent pace...

So, for the 4 & 2...what total calories/total carbs did you shoot for?..

1000-1200 calories and I always kept my carbs under 100, typically in the 90's...

Did you do the 4 & 2 everyday, or just on high intensity workout days? Approximately what were your net calories burned (if you remember)?.
