May sound stupid, but did you ask him to stop using it (possibly have a well written letter by a lawyer)?..
Send him a C&D.
Along with a Bill for advertising on your domain..
Cliason.com is NOT Carl Liason. Turns out that Melbourne IT, Ltd dba as Internet Names Worldwide is the owner of cliason.com. You would think that they would know better than to use a domain name they didn't own. We'll see what my attorney and ICANN have to say about what they're doing. White Fang..
Melbourne IT is just the registrar.
Do a whois on cliason.com, you'll find the owner and contact info..
Contact them first and ask them to remove it. If they refuse, contact their host Verio.com.....
Sorry White Fang...are you trying to say you own the TM to "customer service"?.
Looking at the domain in questions he is using it in his Meta tags.
What about customerservice.com.au? That's a high ranker as well...
Personally I think your making a big deal out of very little. Have you considered just asking them nicely to change their meta tag?..
I think the point he is making is it specificially says "Welcome to CustomerService.com" in their title...
I'll try asking nicely first and see what happens.
I just wonder how much traffic they are getting with their "Welcome to CustomerService.com" heading in the search engines. Any way to check their traffic numbers? White Fang..
I would have to agree. I'm sure they will change it if asked. It could just be a typo. I think that is a great idea. As for the traffic, very little Few people would type in "customerservice.com" in a search, but you already know that from your parking traffic. Also, "customer service" & "customerservice" are not returning high search results for the site in question...
I've been pleasantly surprised by the amount of traffic I'm getting (switched my parking to DotzUp 4 months ago)...between 3,800 and 4,000/month!.
It makes parking a lot more attractive. White Fang..
Ask them nicely, and if they dont remove it, contact their host...
