I have been fat for most of my adult life. I have managed to eat myself into type 2 diabeties and out of a marrage. I have 250 pounds to loose so I am here for the long run.

I stated the program a week ago and so far am down 4 pounds. I am feeling better this week because I have learned to space out my eating.

I would love to talk to anyone who has simular weight loss goal. We can be a team and keep each other honest..

Hi Scott - My name is Kelley and I am a food-a-holic..

When I started I had about 100 pounds to lose - so far I've lost 20. I feel better and have more energy... I like the program and truly feel like I am making a lifestyle change - not on just "another diet". It helps that I am logging all of my food online because it helps make me accountable..

Good luck to you! You CAN do it.... Just remember what they say in AA - "One day at a time"!!!! Just take it one day at a time. You are gonna do great!.

A couple of things - UNLIMITED VEGGIES and ENOUGH WATER TO SAIL A SHIP ON!!.

Also, remember to eat EVERYTHING your plan outlines. If you need to shuffle the food/meals around, that's ok (i.e. dinner for lunch, lunch for dinner, snack with meal, split meals up so you're eating all the time). We are all here to answer questions and support you on your journey. Do as the others suggested - visit the Men's Room, find a thread that strikes a chord with you, and post, post, post. If you're busy typing, you can't reach for food Good luck..

Hi Scott!.

Welcome to getting your life back..

It is the game show where you win by losing.

Congrats on making the choice, we all have had good and bad days but do your best to follow the program as closely as you can..

Everyone has a different metabolism and you if you really feeling frustrated at times makes sure you talk to the dietitians they often "suggest" you eat more food. Not always but heavier starting weights have a few more options..

Chat away here because it keeps your mind busy and there will always be people around who totally understand how you are feeling..

Good luck!.

Hey Scott, .

Welcome! I just started last week and I too am a foodaholic who has decided that I can no longer let food control my life because I was killing myself and I know it! I want to live so best to gain control - I have to say I really have not been hungry, I think it's a wonderful way to eat and it really keeps you satisfied! .

I have 100 lbs to lose - it;s going to be a long road, but talking to others who have been so successful makes me realize I can do it too and so can YOU!.
