Ugh! I'm on vacation and have been doing pretty well, but today I've just had a hard time. I'm hungry and craving foods. We are at the beach and pretty much hang at the beach all day. My structure is off - I slept late today, which is throwing off when to eat. Last night, I kept seeing all the food and caved to a handful of chocolate chips. I finally took them out of the freezer and hid them in a cabinet.

I came up for lunch and planned on hanging around the condo, but could tell if I did I would eat - so I went to the pool and played with my niece and nephew. Tonight we are going to a nice restaurant for our anniversary, 23 years. I'm planning on salmon and veges. I love being on vacation, but I will be happy to get back to my routine and in better control of my meals..

Happy Anniversary! Yep, the choc chips could have you craving today. Or it could just be "vacation mode" that has you wanting off plan things. Who knows. But you did great getting yourself out and away from food! You knew what would happen and you got away from temptation! Woo!!! Good job!.

Tonight we are going to a nice restaurant for our anniversary, 23 years. I'm planning on salmon and veges. I love being on vacation, but I will be happy to get back to my routine and in better control of my meals..

Structure is a huge factor (IMO). That's why weekends are so much harder (emphasis a whiny voice here). Work is a godsend for 2 reasons. Paycheck and structure for Medifast meals..

Nights are the worst for me, the weekends aren't bad as long as I am busy. Drink lots of water..

Good Job and Hang in there! I'm with you... I took my kids to the county fair today and did NOT eat so much yummy stuff, fried foods, deep fried everything including candy bars, popcorn and so on and so on you get the picture...but I did end up taking one tiny bite of my daughters fudge???? I guess Ill call it a victory of sorts and move on. Boy did my blended pudding taste good tonight!!!.

It's hard and I'm not sure why this time it is different - may be it's the science of the diet. On other plans I would have cheated big time and then just spiralled out of control. We spent a day at Broadway on the Beach - lots of shopping and food. I noticed all the food vendors, normally I would have had drinks, treats, oh and fudge too. But I didn't and the funny thing is - today I don't miss them. So, yes it's definately a victory - one I hope we can carry with us. We survived without all the junk..
