Does this stuff actually taste good? I'm leary of this "shelf" food. Not sure why I thought it would come frozen..

Welcome! I've actually been surprised with some of the meals and how good they taste. There are also a few that I had to choke down and will not order again. I don't think it makes any difference that it's not frozen, it's just how it's fixed so it meets the requirements to help us lose weight. It's just a matter of personal taste. Good luck!.

I was surprised too that everything was room temp...(bleh was my first thought, haha) but for some reason, the food comes out delish! we really do eat with our eyes, but if you can get past that your dinner will be coming from a little box, maybe put it on a nice plate next to your yummy veggies, it won't seem that bad..

I have found everything tastes pretty good. Don't let the pictures influence you, because most food doesn't look like the pictures..

I, too, have been pleasantly surpised at the food. I have liked almost everything I have tried so far. Give it a try!.

They are the best MREs I ever had! Lol..

The folks at the Pentagon should sign a contract with Nutrisystem!.

I felt that way when my food first arrived too. I was really nervous about trying it, but I've found that most of it tastes really good. Some items I don't care for so I won't order those again..

I am anxious to get started.. I tried the food a few yrs ago.. didnt really like. I am going into this with a positive mind...

Just keep in mind that a few seasonings, veggies etc and you can make a nice customized meal.

Tomorrow will be my first day with the Nutrisystem food. I hope it is as good as you all say, because I"m with the others.. It DOES NOT look that good, especially the chicken salad Hope all goes well with this.

It's not super appealing but I can honestly say there are about five things in the entire plan I don't care for, and even those i'd eat if I was starving..

Had the apple cinnamon oatmeal for breakfast, not too bad. Does anyone out there have a crazy work schedule and if so, how do you fit exercise into it? I've been working about 12 hours a day and am mostly stuck at a desk. Any suggestions on how I can get at least SOME exercise in during the week? Weekends are good for me to get moving... Thanks.

A number of people will use about 1/2 their lunch break as a time to walk. Are there stairs in your office building? Use those rather than the elevator whenever you have to get somewhere on a different level. Park sd far from the door as possible. I've seen pedals that you can put under your desk and pedal while you work at desk. Just stand up and stretch periodically during the day (that something you should be doing anyway if you are basically sitting all day)..

I park as far away as I can so I have to do some walking just to get into the building and then I've been trying to work with people face to face, rather than using the phone/email. I do get some exercise in during the day but I just don't feel like it's enough. My yoga tape arrived today, so that'll be something I can do before/after work... Thanks.
