I'm so sad. For the first time since May 1st, I've gained 2.5 pounds. Every week I have lost, until now. We went on vacation on Tuesday, and I brought all of my meals (mostly bars), ate my L&G, but did not drink enough and had too many BLTs. This just proves to me how important it is to drink lots of water and that those little bites add up quickly!.

On a bright note, I am glad that I was able to not give in and have more than those bites. We went to amusement parks and I brought my Medifast meals and ate those instead of completely giving in and eating pizza or other things..

Back on track with some water at my side and not taking a bite of ANYTHING that is off plan!!!.

Well, it happens! Don't beat your self up over it! Great that you are back OP, and are getting that water in! That is MY biggest downfall, yech! Keep it up! Your doing great!.

Eva, it was a good lesson to learn, and thank you for sharing that with us. Keep focused on the bright side you had a plan to keep it from being a really bad outing, and that's a step in the right direction. I know how hard it is to resist the temptation of all of those goodies at the amusement park! Back OP this week and you will get that 2.5 pounds back off in no time at all..

Don't feel alone.....EVERYONE slips.....even those who claim that they don't (you know who you are). Learn from the lesson...I did last week.....the little (cheats) are NOT worth that feeling when you step on the scale and don't get what you want. I find that if I drink a lot of my water early in the day that I can actually drink more. It also helps if it's really cold water. It's okay.....yesterday is over......my feeling is that you are going to have a good weight in this week! :-).

Ugh! Was saying that even necessary? *smh*.

The great thing about Medifast is that those 2.5 lbs will come off pretty easily once you are back on track. Your loss to date is impressive and it sounds like you aren't going to let this little incident derail you. That's awesome..

Aw that sucks! An amusement park has every bit of junk food known to man! How you got away with just "tastes" is pretty amazing! Hope you had fun tho! So back OP, back to good.

In a different light, good for you for going on vacation and having your fun. You didn't get out of control. Did you have fun? If so, that's what should linger cuz the weight won't. I agree that you will have a fabulous weigh-in coming up. Water will wash that toxin build up right out of your bod! Enjoy your vacation memories!! Congratulations on your progress!!.

Your progress is inspirational! Last March I was down to 208 and from your stats I would have been about 3 weeks away from my so desired ONEDERLAND! You give me inspiration by posting and I give you so much credit for sharing this past week's results..

Like the others have said, it happens. Just carry on with your plan. You are doing terrific! Nothing better than being done with those snarky 230's forever! I know the feeling all too well!.

That leads me to my question. How does anyone stay on this diet perfectly for the duration? I guess one would have to start by defining "perfect". There have been those people who stated they stayed on plan as written for months on end and the progress proves it. Bless those people. It would be interesting to be able to do a personality test on those who get the job done but not on a perfect journey and those who get the job done on the pure straight and narrow.

My goal is to keep as close to the plan as possible but I already know I will not be perfect, but I sure can make progress if I really put my whole mind to it. I have spent the past 7 days since my new shipment of Medifast arrived just getting my brain off of fruit and off exercise for a while. Those two things are really hard for me. I have fought this diet tooth and nail in my brain but I always come back to it because I know it does work.

So I say progress for me can get the pounds off. We already know perfection gets the pounds off but we are only human after all, so progress is a very good thing!.

Now if I only can practice what I preach I would be normal weight. Progress, progress, progress. If the heart is beating there is always hope!.
