I've been doing pretty well on Medifast but this week I started doing 30 minute brisk walks. Up until now I've only been doing like 5 minutes per day of toning exercises. Well the walking has made me hungry! I've cheated by eating additional lean protein or an extra Medifast meal. I don't want to cheat, but dang I feel hungry anyone else have this happen when they started exercising?..

Sometimes I get famished when I'm golfing. Since I'm out on the course for 4 or so hours, it's a lot calories expended. I make sure to eat my meals and then I do take extra protein if I need it. I wouldn't add a Medifast meal I think that might push me over the carb limit...

Don't cheat! Call Nutrisystem and get their opinion about whether you should switch to 4&2 for your level of exercise. But cheating just makes it harder to stay OP in the future - there's a slippery slope.....

Try building up slower in your exercise program. So that your body has more time to adjust or you will surely slow your weight loss!..

Oddly enough the Medifast counselor wasn't scary I DID cheat almost every day this week! Still lost 1 pound (obviously I didn't cheat hugely). I can't believe how hungry I get just walking, but I am keeping it up and hoping the hunger passes or maybe I'll split my Medifast meals in two and eat little amounts all day or something. She stressed I need to increase my water so I press onward...

I started exercising a month ago. Even though it's not intense (Curves), Ive been extra hungry, tired, losing and gaining the same 3 pounds, and have started going off plan more and more trying to fill myself up. After searching the boards I have decided to do the 4&2 plan for 2 weeks to see if that helps any. I started yesterday and so far so good, havent wanted to eat my pen or fall asleep at my desk..

Hoping you find something that works for you..

This is what scared me and why I did NOT excercise while in weight loss phase. I just couldnt wrap my head around trying to "accomplish" 2 goals at the same time. Weight off was number 1 goal. Now, I am going for number 2 goal "Rock hard body" courtesy of hitting the gym!..
