To Any one looking at getting a domain through EST Domains be very very careful. They have the worst customer support I have ever seen and thats saying something.

I have paid twice through two different methods to renew a domain that expires on the 12th. They have not recognised either payment. I have logged over 3 support tickets two of them remain unanswered after 24 hours at critical. The one that has had a reply says they cant do anything until Monday.

I have therefore tried to change the domain to another registrar. Unfortunately this can take 5 days and EST need to approve it. Well I doubt they will now.

I really need this domain and dont see what the problem is. Does any one here know how I can contact a manager or someone there as their staff are useless?.

James..

It's time to pull out, if you haven't already... don't wait for another registerfly-like meltdown..

Mine are stuck with no help and have been for weeks..Ive just gotta sit tight and see what happens now..

Bollox.

Mine expires on the 12th the same day they get terminated.

I have requested a transfere to Mitsu but that wont happen till the 13th. I have twp payments sent, I guess I will lose these. Is there someone at ICANN I can (lol) email to let them know I still want the name?.

Please help.

Thanks.

Mitsu? Is it a .in? If it's .in then you can just push it to another Directi reseller since EstDomains are just a reseller for .in. If it's a gTLD then you are in trouble unfortunately...

Not always the case mine are .in and they are stuck..

Cant you go into the domain and go 'move services' and then move it to your account at another Directi reseller?..

No it has a forwarding sevice attached (inherited from previous owner) that you have to remove before you can move services.. I cant remove it as this part of the site is not working, they wont remove it (ive had many an email from them) so guess I'm gonna see what happens but I think they will expire before then. Maybe they will get held like regfly names I dont know??..

The .in domains are registered by Directi so maybe you can contact them about it? Also .in domains can be renewed for 15 days or something after expiry. So it gives you an extra 15 days I guess. The gTLD domains should be protected by ICANN and will be given to another registrar soon hopefully, but the nature of the domains people had registered at EstDomains may turn many registrars away. The ones I can think of who might be interested might not meet the other criteria and since EstDomains has over 250,000 gTLD domains it would have to be a pretty big registrar to take them on and also they apparently have some IDN domains...
