Soooo, not sure if it's a Monday morning brain freeze or what, but I'm having issues with MyPlan. I made a recipe from the Medifast L & G cookbook this weekend and would like to enter it into the system. Are the Medifast L & G recipes already in the system? If not, how do I enter a full recipe? Can I enter a recipe and then save the whole meal? I just entered every ingredient (1/4 of the recipe... Monday morning math!) and that'll get old if I have to do this every day...

One thing you could do is take all your calculations from this morning, figure out all the details (calories, carbs, fat, protein, etc) as 1 total and enter as a private food. You won't get the green bar that show's you as having had your l&g, but it would be a lot easier to track in the future..

This is a reason I started using The Daily Plate It allows you to create recipes and how many servings it makes, then gives you an entry by serving based on your recipe. Heck, you could even create the recipe at TDP, then enter the nutritional information under private foods in My Plan...

The daily plate dot com is a great website and has Medifast foods listed in it too..

I love the daily plate too! I didn't realize that they had Medifast foods on it. Now that I know, I think I will use that as well! I love that they have an iPhone app too!..

The other option, if you're a sloppy-around-the-edges logger like me, is just to get the highlights in there. If I make a fritatta thing with 4C egg beaters, 5oz ground beef, and 4 oz feta (4 servings), I am likely to log it as egg beaters and move on with my day. My totals aren't exact, but I know my meal was OP and it's not like I'm using my meal logging for SCIENCE or anything...
