I normally only eat LG that I have prepared. (occasionally I have had a dressing free salad or sashimi away).

The couple of times I have eaten from away I have had a weird physical reaction. has anyone had something like this:.

1. at my step sister's wedding there was nothing I could eat. I was way off my time table for eating and desperate. I tried to eat a small amount of eggplant out of eggplant parmesan. it only took a few bites before I started to feel very flushed. I decided the eggplant must have had hidden breading or the tomato sauce, which I only ate as it touched the eggplant had sugar.

i felt drunk..

2. I made dinner with a friend. we made muscles, raw oysters, clams, and a small salad. she made the salad dressing, but it only had lime juice, sugar substitute, oil/vinegar. the muscles/clams were steamed/boiled briefly in water and about 1/2c of red wine. (i know alcohol is not OP) while eating I again felt very flushed and started to feel loopy like I was drinking. other than the 1/2c wine that was cooked and which I did not slurp up! everything should have been OP, if anything I had under eaten my LG.

3. brunch this weekend. we went out and I ordered an egg white herb omelet. it did have some full fat cheese that I forgot to have left out. it came with delicious looking fancy toast, potatoes, and fruit. I only ate the eggs.

as before, I began to feel a little light headed. I only ate half of the eggs. but what sugar could there possibly be in eggs?.

All of this sounds like a carb reaction to me, but in the last 2 cases it just doesn't seem to make any sense. has anyone else experienced this?.

Perhaps it's a psychological reaction because you're nervous about eating food you haven't prepared..

Hmm I hadn't thought of that. if it is mental, it is really manifesting! haha .

I don't want to be too crazy with other people! I like that the LG gives enough flexibility to eat out some..

I experienced my first "outing" like last weekend and you know what I brought with me....honey mustard pretzels and two string cheese with me and I ordered just a glass of water and yes it felt kinda weird at first, but you know what, I didnt care it's worth it in the end!.

Yeah, I was embarassed at first, but hey to each is own LOL..

Wow that is so strang. The only thing I can think of is maybe it's the calories hitting you. I know during and after I eat my L&G I get a burst of energy. Maybe your energy is hitting you with heat warm ups. IDK. That's all I got for you..

Thats something I hadn't thought of. hmmm. I like it though..

My sister tried to tell me I must be "allergic" to something..

Made me wonde about trying th egluten free package.

I think I somewhat agree with Janine68. I know this is unrelated, but when I was pregnant I used to get hot flashy during and after every meal and my dr said it was just the energy hitting me harder than usual..
