It hasn't been "too" hard this week...I work 4-10s, so it was realatively easy, I brought my MFs to work and ate at my desk every 3 hours..

However, I'm so dreading the weekend (which starts tomorrow)...what's the saying "Idle hands is the devil's playground"? I'm afraid that being home for three days is going to be the biggest challenge.

I think tomorrow I'm going to dig through old bins I have in storage and try to find my skinny button-up 501s I saved from the 1980s. LOL!! Can you believe I have a pair of 30 year old jeans that I've been holding onto in case I ever lost weight?!.

My first weekend I read everything I could on the website....Success stories, motivation and recipes(for foods I didn't like). This is a really encouraging community of people. Good luck and I'm glad you had a good first week so far..

Maybe I'll fire up the grill and do as someone else on this board does and grill my L & G meats for next week..

Hey Kiddo,.

My first weekend was an anniversary trip with my child bride. It was hard, but I did it and learned a lot. There's a feeling of control and sanity that comes with staying on plan and that first weekend was my first glimpse of how powerful that could be. You'll do fine. It gets easier and you'll feel stronger and more in control with every victory you have..

Good Luck!.

Ah yes, my first weekend was 4th of July. Ouch. But you know what? I did it. And so can you =) And LXX is right, you will feel so amazing and proud of yourself for staying on plan that the weekends will just start to zoom by. My best advice is to make sure you still time your meals the same, on weekends I actually set a timer on my phone =).

I try to stay busy on the weekends and cook a bunch of vegetables including my standard mashed cauliflower and then weigh them into serving sizes and freeze. I usually get 2-3 weeks of vegetables cooked so my long days Ijust grab a container out of the freezer and pop in the microwave. the lean usually is quick and easy with it. I also used the chat room a lot when I first started for support. You can do it!.
