It's normal. You can have a cup of bouillon or some dill pickles if they help. Chicken broth saved me the first week..
Rest as much as you can. It will get better soon, I promise. Just make sure to stay 100% OP so you get into ketosis. If you fudge things at all you can easily go over the carb limit, and then you can prolong the misery indefinitely..
Yep, normL. In a few days or maybe even tomorrow, you'll feel better!.
I woke up on day 5 and finally felt better.
Did someone say fudge??.
I am day 10 now and I am feeling pretty good. Not to hungry but know when it's meal time in the evenings anyway. Once in awhile I have a small headache but thats usually when I get up in the morning and once I eat it's gone for the day. Its true what they are telling you it gets lots better I actually feel like I have more energy sometimes. Hang in it's so worth it !!!.
I'm on day 6 and today is the first day I didn't feel tired or sicky, etc. I was getting really concerned because, I just could not snap out of the lethargic feeling. I had the same deal with the stomach. That percolating feeling like any minute you have to go... but that soon subsided. Hang in there.
It will pass. I promise.....
Correction. I'm on day 7. not 6 as stated above..
I'm sorry you feel so bad. I'm on day 3, too and feel fine, but that's probably because I was faking the Medifast program with supermarket foods so have been in ketosis for a few days. I started worrying that I wasn't doing it right today since I felt so good, but remembered that I felt like hell for a couple days last week.
You'll feel better soon, and then you'll get healthy!.
I didn't feel back to normal until day 6. Totally normal and I agree with everyone else, your body is getting rid of all the crap and learning how to cope with the fewer calories. You can dot it! By the 2nd weeek you'll be great!.
The first four days were some sort of surreal experience for me lethargic, no desire to eat my food, weird taste in my mouth, brain fog ...felt much better after 4 days still though I did get back to my normal energy level until like 7 weeks into the program. I think most people don't experience low energy for that long.
I am in the middle of my 3rd week - I felt a lightheaded, grouchy and hungry on my third afternoonIt had passed on my 4th day and I have felt great since. Sometimes I do still get hungry but when I look at the clock, it is because it is time to eat. I eat then the hunger is gone. I never expected the small amount of food we eat to keep me satisfied, but it does.
Don't feel discouraged. I compared day 3 to labor. WHen it got difficult it meant it was nearly time for greatness to happen. Hopefully you feel better today..
Make sure you are weighing your protein. I felt tired for about 7 days. Found out I was eating about 1/2 my protein as I was eyeballing it. Once I started weighing, I felt wonderful..
