HI happinessonly.. I just ordered my food last night, so obviously haven't started it yet. I paid extra and hopefully, I'll have it by the weekend. I don't usually post on these type things, but I was glad to hear you say the food really tasted good. I have watched Sara Rue with Jenny Craig and was SOOO inspired (except I'm 20 years older than her), but she is my inspiration right now. The JC program was just too expensive.
Anyway when I get my food, I'd like to blog with you (good and bad). Maybe that will help make this time successful for me!!.
Oh, and that's not my right start date. It should be this month, but I don't know how to change it.
Keep positive and look at it as a healthy way that you have decided to tackle. I have 50 pounds to lose and that's alot; however, I'm taking it one day at a time and never looking back until the finish. I could never compare the Nutrisystem food with the wonderful comfort food of my mom's, but I NEED to lose this weight to be as healthy as possible and the Nutrisystem food is tasty, I assure you. Keep the faith...Happy Grandma.
I am on week 2, the food is good, lots of ideas on how to doctor up all the food on this site too. And I agree the price is right..
Today is my second day. UPS was late with the BBB. Other than the typical heat problems, (chocolate melting) everything is great. I'm starting out with foods that I am skeptical about, that way if I don't like them I can remove them from my 2nd order BEFORE it ships.
Using the online Meal-Plan sure does help me to stay within the acceptable calorie range. And to keep track of my water.
Also something that I know a lot of people do to help them along the way, is to set mini goals. As you can see by my signature, I have set my first mini goal to lose 5 pounds by the end of August. It's simple and I should be able to do it! If I do, I will give myself a little (non food) reward!.
Now if I could just get off this board and go do some exercise! .
Have a great day!.
Keep up the great work everyone....I guarantee that the journey won't be perfect, but if you stick through the hard parts (those entrees that make your stomach curl, melted desserts in summer, plateaus, gas, etc.) I also guarantee you can succeed. The program really works. You will start posting your own NSV's (Nutrisystem Victories) when you drop sizes, get compliments, do something physical you never dared do before....every single little bump in the road is invisible when you have one of those NSV's..
Glad to hear everyone is still hanging in there. I did have to buy some advil for my headache but am still loving the food. Ran 4 miles on the treadmill this morn and yesterday morn and feel great. We are headed back up to the high country tomorrow and the altidude really messes with my running, but I am sure if I can get this weight off it will be easier!! The food is all still reeally good. I guess I need to set me some mini goals? Lets keep checking in everyday and helping each other with their journeys!!.
Wow! So much inspiration here! I am on day 4 and I'm doing pretty good. Couldn't believe how good the flame broiled beef patty was last night! In my mind, it was almost as good as a whopper!! ha ha! I know that it's only 4 days in, but I already feel like I have more energy. Hope it only gets better from here!.
