So my stuff arrived today and I am so excited to finally have a plan to lose this weight! I'm a mother of 4 wonderful kids ranging from 16 down to almost 2. I've always fought with food but never had real weight issues until the last 3 years. I've been dieting and regaining weight plus more until I finally can't stand to see myself anymore. I've realized that I've used my weight to hide and keep a distance from people. More on that later as I get to know you guys better!.

Anyway, I'm ready to face myself and build better relationships. I jumped on the scale this morning for the first time in months and was shocked! I'm 15 pounds heavier than my heaviest weight. No wonder nothing fits! I'm hoping to drop 15 pounds my first month on Medifast but clearly need to stick with this for a few months. Which is where you guys come in. I can't do this without support and encouragement from people who get it.

Thanks everyone! So far so good. Today I'm definitely missing "real" food but I'm learning which Medifast foods I like and which ones I don't. Oatmeal-bad!! Lemon meringue bars- yummy!!.

I'm hoping it gets easier as I stick with it...

You go girl!!!!! One day at a time,and it DOES get easier just stick with it and talk to the boards when you need to. Its a great journey to finally have something that works and that you WILL see results for your efforts...

Welcome aboard!.

You might want to try the oatmeal again in a few weeks to see if you like it better after you have developed "MF tastebuds". Although, some people NEVER gain an appreciation for oatmeal, some of us find out we actually like it after all..

Also, be sure to check here for ideas of what to do to enhance the Medifast meals. It can make a huge difference!.

Hang in there, and by the end of the week most of the Medifast meals will taste pretty good to you...and you won't be as hungry as you are right now. I promise...
