I always make mine in the bullet, but I do know that if you mix the water and the powder and let it soak for about an hour or so, it will blend up better, probably will work if you just are shaking it too...
Are these different then the normal cold shakes? I have no problem shaking the normal ones up in my shaker...
Yes these are different and my favorite. They are made with Whey protein not soy. So they are a different consistency. Make them with a few tbsp of cold water and mix into a paste. This will help reduce clumping. Then mix in the rest of your water. If you make it up at least 2 hours before you need to drink it (meal before) and let it sit, it gets really thick and creamy after a quick last minute stir...
Hmmm, guess these will have to be an @ home meal then...
Why? I just mix in a cup with a spoon at work. or in a hotel...
Cause when I mixed it today it didnt mix, I had large clumps. Im not talking about small little clumps but large clumps. The place I work it would make it hard to have to do extra steps to get it mixed right that I just dont have time to do...
I love the huge clumps in the dark choco.......I like the clumps in everything actually, but, the dark choco is like a liquidy lava cake. It is one of my faves too...
The dark chocolate is my fav! I never had any troubles with clumps though. I use the magic bullet though...
I have a knock-off magic bullet at work... so I can blend shakes with ice. Heck sometimes I feel like I'm at work more than I'm home. :P So it's worth it to keep supplies there...
Consider getting a blender bottle that has the metal ball inside that wisks along with the shaking. Medifast sells one, or I've seen them at Whole Foods and Target...
Leesa, yeah I am going to get me a new shaker this weekend @walmart...
LOL the whole 10 months I was on 5&1 I never used a blender or a shaker. Have spoon and cup will eat, so to speak...
