Make sure that you have your background color set to black then go to Image and click on Canvas Size, then just input what size you want. Then you can re-crop to the desired image size.Scott W. McClure.

You can create it yourself by creating another layer with a larger image size and play with different effects..

Or is there another program that will do this for me.I just want to be able to add a black borders to them..

You can also download and use one of these free actions for CS2..

The following is for PSCS3 but I think it is the same for CS2.Border with Layer styles&..

Create a new solid color layer above your picture layer. Choose any color or pattern you want.Select the entire new layer with the marquee select tool..

Reduce the selection size by the width of the frame you want. You can use the select/modify menu command, or any other method.Hit Delete..

You can now add layer styles to this new border. You can also go back and modify the layer to use any color or pattern.Have fun..

Note: this border will cover a part of your picture. The next thing is to reduce the size of your picture if you want all of it to fit. I will leave this up to you..

There are a lot of ways of doing it. One way I like is to:.

1. Select All2. Select Modify Contract (choose say 8 pixels)3. Select Inverse4. Layer New Layer5. Edit Fill Foreground (Foreground being the color you want)6.

Layer Layer Styles Drop Shadow8. Select Deselect.

Experiment with the Bevel and Emboss and Drop Shadow. Play with the Conract amount. Also, have fun..
