The men are welcome to read this, and it may apply to you if you have private parts issues, but for the ladies: Have any of you been having crotch cramping? And you aren't on your time? I've been having cramping for a couple of weeks now. Before and after "my time" and it's slightly annoying! I drink a TON of water, I know that lack of water can cause this, so I'm not sure what it's from? I have been working out 2-3 times a week. Could that be it? It's just annoying and if I'm going be annoyed I like knowing that I'm not the only one.....

I haven't experienced cramping, but I definitely notice that the soy is probably screwing with my system..... I got my period 2 weeks early when I first started the program... The increased estrogen makes me less inclined to desire sex....... I'm tempted to try a testosterone cream or something....

I have bigger hormone surges than I ever did. Poor husband & kids. Some days I feel like I need an exorcist..................

My thought on this was to wonder if it was a kidney stone, but I don't know if it would cause pain for that long. When I had one, it was the most intense pain I'd ever had, including when I threw my back out...

I'm a little confused about the geographic region we're discussing. Usually menstrual cramps are in the uterine region, which is significantly higher than the crotch. If you're having cramps in your crotch, that's totally weird, and you should probably see a doctor...

I just got a progesterone cream at GNC (only 15.99).. I'm hoping it will help balance out the extra estrogen. I'll let you know if it helps!..

I totally get the cramping you're talking about. I had a late period this month and I kept getting the cramps well before that thinking it was gonna show up, but it didn't happen for awhile. Its annoys me but I just try to ignore it...

I had cramping, not in the area you mentioned. But it started a week before TOM and lasted for 3 weeks. I was also spotting for a total of 2 1/2 weeks including my actual TOM. Must be the soy...

LOL Freya! I guess it is the WHOLE crotch. Starts from the overies and works it's way downtown. I don't think it's kidney stones, not enough pain. Just a nagging cramping where I feel like I'm gonna start my period but know I'm not supposed to? I was wondering about the soy as well... Makes me feel better knowing I'm not the only one. And it gives me a semi excuse for those too tired days... "sorry honey, I'm having crotch cramps from all the soy.."..

4 reasons for menstrual difficulties:.

- Soy.

- Fat breaking down releases stored hormones - regardless of what diet you're on.

- Rapid weight loss - again, on any diet.

- Stress/fatigue/what have you - this is all a lot of change and kind of exhausting...

This thread makes me feel much better, because I have been really tired and irritable this last week. Not so much emotional as just plain mean and nasty and not caring. And I too have been spotting for a week + after my period and was getting concerned. But maybe it's just the diet. No cramping for me though...

Thankfully I found this thread. I started spotting today. 5 full days before I'm supposed to start. And with being on birth control it's like clock work. Yeah, I was pretty nervous none the less. Well this explains all of the wanting to shove every piece of food I see in my mouth.

I completely forgot about all the soy !.

Thanks Ladies for being here!!..
