Hi babyzcakes! I am a newbie too! I havent even started yet, so I guess I will be a newbie when my food gets here this week sometime I dont really have much advice to give you seeing as I havent yet started myself, BUT....I just want to congratulate you on making it through your first 4 days and tell you that you are doing great! I cant wait to hear all about your success and *hopefully* share mine with you all as well! Good luck, keep it up!.
Hi Jillian !! Welcome to you too isn't it exciting starting something new ? Glad we can more or less go it together, there are lots of newbies I think though. I would be happy to be your friend and we can help each other along the road to success !!!.
Hey y'all! I'm waiting on my first order, too! I'm excited and a little nervous. Jillian, it's great that your bosses are OP so you'll have real, live buddies as well as all of us here! Have they had success? Well, duh, obviously if they converted you from WW.
Anyway, let's keep in touch?.
Welcome to all of you! In the past, I tried Nutrisystem and WW, neither worked as fast or were as easy as MF..
I know you will all do great!!.
Hi,.
I am new too. I just started two weeks ago. I am having SO much trouble eating all 5 Medifast meals each day! What happens if you don't? .
I know exactly what you mean, as soon as you finish the first one it seems it is already time to have another. The time flies by so fast. The next thing you know it is time for bed and I am 2 meals short.....
It probably will be easier when vacation is over because (at least for me) time does not "fly" when I am at work..
Good Luck to you.
Welcome to all of you. I am in my 4th week and loving the program. I've done WW as well but honestly, this is so much easier because I really only need to plan one meal a day, that's usually dinner with the family. Between work & kids, I will take any simplification I can get. I don't get my last meal in until this time of the evening but as long as I get them in that's what counts..
Welcome to all of you!! I struggled getting all my meals in the beginning. Gosh I wish I felt that way now. You really need to eat all five- double up if you have to do so. Like a brownie with a crunch bar mixed in? Shake - vanilla and choc combined? I never did it but always try to get alllll your meals in..
I found that setting an alarm on my cell phone to remind me to eat my meals was helpfull.lol, on a diet and have to be reminded to eat can you believe that.
Good luck on your journey.
Wow thanks guys for all the support and input !! Makes me feel strong knowing I have so many supporters out there doing the same thing with me and can offer encouragement and ideas ! I already love this better than w/w because I don't have to go to a meeting to get support I can get it as soon as I need it from all my buddies right here !!! This is great and isn't it what we all need more of support from people who know what it feels like and how hard it is ? Lets go out there people and kick some butt this week !!!.
Hi babyzcakes - I'm a newbie, too. My husband and I are starting Medifast together and are beginning our 4th day. So far things have gone well, except I have struggled to get all 5 Medifast meals in. The 2nd day I only had 4 but last night I doubled up with a cappucino and a bar in the evening because I'm sure not getting enough calories in will sabotage my efforts..
I found a great resource for lean & green meals (in addition to the L & G recipes on the Medifast website and book). The Time Savor Gourmet, Stacey Hawkins, is on Medifast herself and has a website and videos on You Tube (where she is known as The Queen of Lean & Green) that I have found very helpful in planning our L & G meals..
Good luck to both of us!.
Welcome newbies! Make sure you are eating every 2-3 hours and you should be able to get your meals in fine. Setting an alarm is great advice. You don't want to miss meals cuz you need all the nutrition from each and every one of them (plus L&G of course).
I also did WW a couple years ago. I stuck with it for about a month and lost ten pounds but it was such a pain in the booty to weigh every single thing and then log it and I felt like I was always grocery shopping! I like that I can hit the store once a week, get everything I need for my L&G's and be done! Love the simplicity of the plan AND the fact that it works!.
Good losses to all!.
