I was just there ten minutes ago. I didn't get anything real exciting. I bought prime sirloin steaks, skinless boneless chicken breasts (they come in individual packets with 2 in each packet for $2.29 per lb), frozen tilapia (they did have fresh) and frozen Mahi Mahi. I noticed some salmon burgers that someone told me were op, but I didn't check it out. Oh..and a nice 1lb plastic container of beautiful salad greens for 3.99. I have paid 5.99 for the very same thing...

They have a massive bag of organic frozen broccoli which I love to have on hand. We usually eat fresh but sometimes we just don't have it. Big bag of cucumber is so good too. Ours has several salad dressings that are low fat/low carb which are great.

I eat most of my L&G from costco. Staples include.

*Tuna cans. They come in 7oz packs so you do not have to use two partial cans of the smaller ones.

*Canned wild alaskan salmon.

*Salad greens/broccoli/celery/tomatoes/bell peppers.

*Frozen Chicken.

*Frozen fish, tilapia, Mahi mahi.

*Salmon patties.

*Eggbeaters..

Sarah,.

Sorry to get off topic but...

Are you supposed to weigh the Tuna after draining the water out or as it is packaged?.

I also buy the big Costco tuna packs but I've been weighing it on a scale after draining the water so the 7oz can only gives me about 5oz of tuna..

Have I been inadvertently going off plan?.

Thanks,.

Mike..

Tuna and the Costco canned chicken - I drain then weigh.

Items I like:.

Chicken breast - the 99% lean frozen ones.

Tail on raw shrimp.

Marinated tri-tip or other pieces of beef.

Fresh broccoli.

Persian and English cucumbers.

Spinach.

Asparagus when it is in season.

Whole french green beans.

Prepared entrees for when I need a quick meal:.

Pollo Asada - so dang tasty.

Rotisserie chickens.

Steak strips..

My TSFL coach told me about the Angus burgers. They're in the frozen section but are precooked. You nuke them for a minute or two. They are amazingly delicious and so convenient...

I'm a Costco addict! Be sure to buy the KIRKLAND albacore tuna. You will be amazed upon opening your very first can. Once you have a can of kirkland tuna...you'll be a tuna snob. Everything else is cat food compared to that. I can't even touch other tuna. I love tilapia...it has very few cals, so I buy the big tray of it and freeze it in my own ziploc bags.

If I had to order a last meal, it would be buffalo burgers from the ground buffalo at Costco. Shrimp cocktails are always good...just discard the cocktail sauce. I have a huge bag of frozen sea scallops that are easy to thaw and sear for a special meal. They have LC cheese in a big 4-pack...

I love Costco! I buy a lot of leans there..

I buy the large frozen bags of Kirkland brand pre-cooked, tail off shrimp (in the orange bag), the Ahi Tuna steaks (Jana Worldwide brand, flash frozen - they are in great shape and are sashimi grade), and when I'm feeling lazy I get their pre-cooked rotisserie chicken back in the meat area. They are only allowed to keep them under the heat lamp for a couple of hours so they are always juicy and are HUGE. I can't buy raw whole chickens for the same $4.99 I pay for a cooked 3-pound chicken. I just peel off the skin, then pick the chicken meat into two ziplock bags so I keep the light and dark meat separate so I know how much to eat. DH and I can each eat 6 oz of white meat chicken from one bird, and I can get 2 more 5oz portions of dark meat from the same bird so it is four lean meals for $5 and I didn't have to cook it. Love! (DH won't eat dark meat, silly man)..

I also buy my bottled water (I'm picky about water.. really picky!) there. A 35-count case of half-liter deer park water costs me $3.99.

When I first started Medifast and was still peeing about 25 times a day I was glad I buy my TP there too! LOL..

I let my membership expire. After reading all of these comments on what you buy, I might have to renew it again...
