If it's just coffee, no, there is no added sugar. Some of the products,(cappucino, hot cocoa, etc) do have added calories and carbs. I'm surprised that the nutritional info is not on the box. We have them at work and it is printed on every box of every coffee we have. Some time ago it was posted how flavored coffees were made. I do remember that the process did not included any added sugars.
Instant coffees can be an entirely different story...
Enjoy your Keurig! I got one about 2 months ago, and it transformed my Medifast journey. I work two jobs besides being a full time doctoral student, so I do a LOT of coffee, and being able to pick some cool flavors for regular coffee (which cuts WAY down on condiments) as well as things to add to Medifast (yeah- creme vanilla caramel coffee in the cocoa...mmmmm.....) whenever I need it, without making (and wasting) a whole pot has been a joy. Steer VERY clear of the cocoas, they're quite high in carbs. It's also great for just heating up some water for my hot drinks and soups. Enjoy!..
Could it be true?? I have Starbucks Carmel flavored coffee and Dunkin Donuts French Vanilla coffee....do they have fructose syrup in them??!!?? Say it ain't sooooo!!!.
I was using Splenda French Vanilla flavored, but Walmart quit carrying it...so when I found Starbucks Carmel ground coffee and Dunkin Donut French Vanilla ground coffee I thought I was doing great!!.
How can I find out for sure??? I did not find it on their website!..
Good question I wondered the same thing. I just got my machine a few weeks ago. My DD moved back home and she and I arecoffee lovers and the boys like the hot coco..
From my research no sugar is added it's flavored with an oil..
But black coffee does have a few carbs and calories...
I don't believe that. Unless you get one of the specialty coffees where they add flavored syrups to them. I'm thinking whatever was written or read may have been misunderstood..
I actually think I found the website the poster was talking about and thought it was a bunch of bull. http://www.coffeenuts.org/Coffee+Bea...ffee+Bean.html.
This one is more in line with what Nutrisystem has posted on their forum and consistent with what I have read elsewhere.
Natalie - Per My Daily Plate, a 16 oz cup of coffee, brewed, black has 5 calories and .8 carbs...
Whew!! Thanks De... both of these are flavored coffee beans, ground fine..
I love my keurig and have used a lot of flavored coffees they offer. Of course the hot chocolate would have sugar and I stay away from those! I have used the keurig since day 1 on MF! Enjoy.
My K cups are a dream come true...no need for starbucks with these little babies... sooo many varieties, they make the cappucino taste great !! and I add the coffee to the hot cocoa, and I use them as "dessert"... the eggnog spice and the gingerbread are DELISH !!!..
