Not necessarily the cheapest ($60/month) but I've been using a VPS from Liquidweb.com for awhile now and they have been awesome. It's pretty reasonable considering you get full managed support included. I've never had to wait more than 2-mins for a reply when I submit a support ticket...

Jag is old-school and their rep isn't bad at all. I personally recommend PowerVPS or ServInt. ServInt has a "fax us cancellation a month in advance" which kind of sucks, but good company. Liquid web is great for support...

Hey have you considered JaguarPC's Semi-dedicated hosting? I had it for a while and it was pretty good. It's shared, but you're not sharing it with many people...

Slhost.com has vps servers for $35 per month. I have used slhost and they have an excellent support staff. If you ask them a question they will give you an answer in less than an hour. Check it out and see for yourself...

Whatever you do stay away from zone.net. they're havin' hella issues. douches...
